(the virtual hosts are use as a proxy ) I tried to stop apache and then restart it to see if it resolved the problem. But apache didn't restart. Only when I issue /usr/sbin/apache -X everything runs fine. I really have no clue why. Nothing appears in the logs after a restart. regards, Pieter -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux laeremans.org 2.4.22-physmem-brkpatch-5um #21 Wed Dec 3 12:12:28 GMT 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages apache2-common depends on: ii debconf 1.2.35 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.6 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libapr0 2.0.47-1 The Apache Portable Runtime ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.1 4.1.25-10 Berkeley v4.1 Database Libraries [ ii libexpat1 1.95.6-6 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libldap2 2.1.22-1 OpenLDAP libraries ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7c-5 SSL shared libraries ii mime-support 3.23-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap ii net-tools 1.60-8 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii openssl 0.9.7c-5 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii zlib1g 1:1.1.4-16 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 223300-done) by bugs.debian.org; 29 Dec 2003 14:29:47 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Dec 29 08:29:46 2003 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from mirror.positive-internet.com [80.87.128.67] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1AaxAm-0001se-00; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 07:11:04 -0600 Received: by mirror.positive-internet.com (Postfix, from userid 1002) id 0C46C43AE1; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 13:11:03 +0000 (GMT) Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 13:11:03 +0000 From: Thom May <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: No info received Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline X-Operating-System: Linux/2.4.22exec-shield (i686) User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.4i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-master.debian.org_2003_11_25-bugs.debian.org_2003_12_29 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on master.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=4.0 tests=none autolearn=no version=2.60-master.debian.org_2003_11_25-bugs.debian.org_2003_12_29 X-Spam-Level: I've not received any further information, so I'm closing this bug.
