And checking my archive, that was just for the linker path in
fact. I'm re-scanning all armel and armhf binary packages in unstable
right now for all the following:

 linker path (armhf)
 fp ABI flags (both)

I'll report the results in the morning when it's done.

I enjoy my debian wheezy on my iop32x, which wheezy is the last supported
release for my arch, so  +1 for consider LTS  support on my n2100.

Here’s the info on the u-boot from the original µSDcard that came with the 
device.

I’ve attached an edited transcript of the console output, if that’s interesting.

I’m pretty sure that u-boot from almost 2 years ago won’t have support for the 
“4x4”.

Next is to try your updated u-boot and see what it says about available RAM.
