Package: debian-installer-6.0-netboot-amd64
Severity: normal

Trying to install Debian 6.0.3-amd64 Netinstall (MD5 is ok).
I use french language.
When I am asked to choose the packages I want to install, I check the
Environement graphique de bureau.

The installation finishes and on reboot, I have KDM and KDE. Gnome does not
seem to be installed.

I have reproduced the problem every time I tried the installation of this
package.

I forgot to say that the installation was made with a USB key which was
 created with Unetbootin.

 I tested some more cases:
  - Installing 6.0.3 netinstall i386 in a virtualbox, and it comes with
Gnome - I made another USB key with cat debian.iso /dev/sdX (so no
Unetbootin) and installation comes with Gnome.

So I still can reproduce the problem with the USB key created with
unetbootin, but I just cannot explain it.
Why using unetbootin makes that ... maybe not a debian bug afterall ;)

From your test cases seems Unetbootin is using another image (live?).

Package: installation-reports
Severity: normal

Squeeze installed just fine. The webcam works, but is a bit choppy. Most
custom buttons work (multimedia keys, mousepad, etc).
The internal speakers do not work, but the headphone jack does provide
sound to headphones.

Does the attached patch works for you?

It seems to, yes. I had nothing to upload when you originally posted
that, but I just did a translation upload for partman-nbd, with your
patch applied, and everything seems to be fine now.

Thanks!

(I didn't commit it, leaving that to you)
