Grub-pc grub-install doesn't write to 1st sector of partition
Hello, I guess I have the same issue as in #611463 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=611463 On squeeze with v 1.98+20100804-14+squeeze1 the following command doesn't write anything to the 1st sector of the partition. grub-install --force /dev/sda11 I tested it with grub-pc from testing (1.99-14) and it works fine. Are there any plans to fix grub-pc of squeeze in an upcoming squeeze update ? Or would it be better that I ask for a backport ? Dear Debian Developers/Maintainers, How can we have new language/script on debian installer? Is there any requirement? If there is, what is the requirement? Ubuntu uses Debian Installer and it has Arabic based Uyghur. We need Latin based Uyghur too. Thanks.
