Hi, After reassigning this bug to partman-nbd, I appear to have forgotten about it. I tried to reproduce it just now, but could not. Can you? If not, I think we'll close it; it may well have been an issue that was in initramfs-tools but which has since been fixed. So the problem is how to determine which dtb is needed. The most obvious solution would be to subsume a bunch of f-k functionality into the kernel packages and offer a debconf prompt for systems which the db doesn't know about.
