Bug#284128: Second try, Grub and Lilo fails
I tried a new install of Sarge RC2 on this laptop (Acer Aspire 1300) today. I boot with option : expert26 noscsi vga=792 Grub stops on message "Determining Grub boot device..." during several minutes, then I'm back to the main menu. I tried to install Lilo on /dev/hda7, but lilo fails with error 1. I don't want to install Lilo on /dev/hda MBR. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". The built-in ethernet interface (via rhine II) on eth0 is ok. I got another bug with the new 2.6.6 kernel, report 252429 Everything else is ok for the moment (well, exim is very slow to start, and I don't know how to tune it, so I switched to postfix).
