Bug #536490 and duplicates may be debian-installer related.
Hello, please take a look at the Bug #536490 because this could be related to debian-installer. The debian-installer may be who should preconfigure policykit to can work in sudo mode. Thanks.
Bug#529862: Reproducible with xserver-xorg-video-intel
My package xserver-xorg-video-intel is 2:2.9.1-2 which is the current version in testing and unstable. The problem is reproducible each time I reboot the laptop (always), font type is not saved neither, it seems like the configuration wasn't stored or loaded property. When I run setupcon, my config is loaded and font type and localization starts to work perfectly.
Bug#529862: [console-setup] Confirmed in intel graphics card
Package: console-setup Version: 1.51 I can confirm this bug in an Intel graphics card, using xserver-xorg-video- intel driver. I need to run dpkg-reconfigure console-setup or setupcon each time I log into tty session. I remember that this was a tipical bug in Ubuntu some releases ago, now it is not present in the current Ubuntu stable (karmic). A workaround about it is to add setupcon command to your ~/.bashrc in a new line. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 Debian Release: squeeze/sid 500 testing security.debian.org 500 testing oktan.ls.fi.upm.es 500 testing ftp.fr.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =-+-=== debconf (= 0.5) | 1.5.28 OR debconf-2.0 | console-terminus(= 4.26) | 4.30-2 xkb-data (= 0.9) | 1.7-2 keyboard-configuration| 1.51 Recommends (Version) | Installed =-+- kbd (= 0.99-12) | 1.15.1-2 OR console-tools (= 1:0.2.3-16) | Suggests (Version) | Installed ===-+-=== lsb-base (= 3.0-6) | 3.2-23 locales | 2.10.2-2 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
