Your default settings will nto be available." * On manual installation of b43-fwcutter (adding contrib in sources etc.), the debconf script tried to download firmware, but complains because of no spaceleft on /tmp/, which appears to be only 1MB. Bug#483957: apt-setup: Display a link to the authoritive list of mirrors in sources.list
Package: apt-setup Severity: wishlist In the case the mirror choosen by the user stops working, the user doesn't have any information about how to change it. A first answer to this problem should be adding such a line in the sources.list file generated by apt-setup during installation : # Reference list of Debian mirrors: http://www.debian.org/mirror/list Best regards, -- Simon Paillard [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". debian-boot, Please find below a report arrived on debian-mirrors. Re: Fwd: debian.blueyonder.co.uk broken
Dear debian.blueyonder.co.uk/debian.virginmedia.com admin, Could you disable the HTTP redirect from debian.blueyonder.co.uk to debian.virginmedia.com, and only setup a simple virtualhost for the old mirror name ? Indeed, HTTP redirect brokes apt. In the meantime, we will modify the list of mirrors so that future debian-installer builds use the new name of your mirror. BTW: * could you add an http alias so that the debian mirror is also available under the quite standard /debian ? * your ISO mirror doesn't seem up to date with respect to the fresh Etch release :-) Thanks for your reactivity and for mirroring Debian, -- Simon Paillard On Mon, Apr 09, 2007 at 04:59:49PM +0200, Frans Pop wrote: > Forwarding this message to the debian-mirrors list. > > Cheers, > FJP > > -- Forwarded Message -- > Subject: debian.blueyonder.co.uk broken > Date: Wednesday 04 April 2007 00:55 > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: debian-boot@lists.debian.org > > The debian.blueyonder.co.uk mirror in the latest daily build (as of > 03/04/07) of the etch installer is obsolete.
