Bug#533227: tzsetup: Missing "Santarem" time zone for Brazil
Hi, On Mon, Jun 15, 2009 at 08:28:02PM +0200, Christian Perrier wrote: > Package: tzsetup > Severity: normal > > When looking at the list of America/* time zones in tzdata, we're missing > "Santarem" for Brazil. Santarem has the same time zone as Brasilia due to a federal law approved in 2008. However, there are a current local bill which tries to give back the previous time zone to this region. I suggest tagging this bug as wontfix for now - things can be changed soon so we untag it when appropriate. Wow! Ok, at least we have them reported and going to be solved :) Thanks, -- Tiago Bortoletto Vaz 0xA504FECA - http://pgp.mit.edu http://tiagovaz.org "É preciso não ter medo, é preciso ter a coragem de dizer." Thanks for trying to reproduce this. In fact, there is crypt in my attempt. Steps: 1) put two sata HDs 320GB in RAID O 2) created a lvm physical and group volume using the whole RAID device 3) created 4 lvm logical volumes 4) the 4 volumes are: /boot (ext3) and three crypted ones (/, /home and swap) 5) then it failed trying to create a xfs in the crypted volume / I just repeated theses steps right now and got the same problem, same log entries. btw, I tried this partition model after trying to create /boot separated of the RAID 0 array, which I had no success as well. I'll describe this attempt later. Now I have a PC with two discs only for d-i tests, so we can do any kind of step by step together interacting in #debian-boot. cheers, -- Tiago Bortoletto Vaz 0xA504FECA - http://pgp.mit.edu http://tiagovaz.org "É preciso não ter medo, é preciso ter a coragem de dizer." D-I fails trying RAID0 / LVM
Hi, I'm using a i386 lenny image from 21-Feb-2008 and have some problems trying RAID0 / LVM during the installation. I guess it might be something wrong with the creation of dm device. Here is the syslog lines which shows when the problem starts: [...] Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): mdadm: cannot open /dev/md/0: No such file or directory Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): [: Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): /: unknown operand Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): [: Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): /boot: unknown operand Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): [: Feb 21 13:54:17 main-menu[1124]: (process:8715): crypt: unknown operand [...] Note that /dev/md0 is created, but mdcfg is actually looking for /dev/dm/0. I'm not a d-i hacker and I'm not even pretty sure if it's a specific d-i problem. So please be patient and give me a though if I posted this in the wrong list.
