The languagechooser screen on a sparc ultra30 has a ragged right
margin with the | on the right side indented on asian languages.
Since bterm does not work and is disabled on this hardware, only
languages using iso lattin-1 are usable.

Tbe best option would be to not show the unusable languages.

For sure, displaying non latin-1 languages on systems without
framebuffer support is a bit clumsy.

On the other hand, I don't really know how we could do this. There is
currently nothing in languagechooser which identifies a language as
latin-1. All translations are UTF-8 lines

The only simple way may be a marker/field (yet another one) in
languagelist for mentioning that the given language is displayable on
a non framebuffer-enabled system. However, as the templates are built
at package build time, this would need mktemplates to build two
templates and languagechooser to diplay either one of thse, depending
whether the framebuffer support is activated or not.

I suggest we leave such changes to post-release.

(This is on the sid d-i image 20040710, but I've seen the problem
before.)
