You need to boot these machines with 'pci=noacpi' in the kernel
command line arguments.

When I use linux26 to start installation then the netadapter can't
detected. But , if I use linux to start installation, it can detected
Broadcom eXetrem BCM5704 .


I am using Debian-sarge-i386.iso (2004-07-27) to install sarge (kernel
2.6) into HP DL140.
