When repartitioning with fips, the system has to be rebooted from
the fips floppy disk, so there is no need to have a DOS/WINDOWS
environment installed or running.

IMHO it would make sense to mention for example the gparted
live-cd from http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php as a
comfortable alternative to fips.
