Manfred:
Die deutschsprachige Antwort auf deinen Fehlerbericht war eine
Einzelaktion von mir, sie kam nicht vom Debian-Installer-Team
und keiner von denen kann deutsch.
Deshalb MUSS du demnächst wieder in Englisch schreiben, wenn du
Mails an den Fehlerbericht oder an die Mailingliste schickst.

Image version: two different "oficial" 4.0 distributions (serval times)
Date: 15th jun 2007

Machine: Asus A7V-VM (hp Board) Phoenix BIOS 3.11 11/05/01
IBM-DTTA-350846- (PM)
ATAPI CDROM 52X- (SM)
CR-4802TE- (SS)
Sound on board grafik (32MB) on board
Processor: AMD Athlon 1666Mhz/266MHz
Memory: Bank0 128MB SDRAM/133Mhz;  Bank0 128MB SDRAM/133Mhz = 266MB
Partitions: 8GByte and 0,5Gbyte (done by installer, preset option)

Output of lspci -nn and lspci -vnn: ???

Base System Installation Checklist:

Comments/Problems: install of base system give back: debootstrap returns 
error 1, installation failed;

using ALT+F2:

My english is not god (i know) but in some englisch postings i find 
something simular to my problem: it was about ubunty and was something with 
the partions?!?
I'm a real beginner, i yust want to make some experiance with linux, looks 
like i do ;-)
