Bug#476389: os-prober: 476389: possible fix
Hi all, I had this same problem on a non-LVM system - grub-pc postinst failing due to os-prober failing due to linux-boot-prober outputting improper lines mentioning non-existent devices. Commenting out line 81 of /usr/lib/linux-boot-probes/mounted/40grub2 fixes this issue on my system. Line 81 looks like it was specific to one of joeyh's systems since the hostname is mentioned by him in #483900. parse_grub_menu / /dev/mapper/kodama-root /dev/hda1 /boot/grub/grub.cfg -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

Perhaps I left it in during intial debugging when I wrote the grub2 probes? I'll remove immediately. -- see shy jo signature.asc Description: Digital signature
