A friend tested the PPC mini ISO on a minimac and he had to boot with video=ofonly to prevent the installer from crashing, and colours were messed up as usual. He also reported the installer hangs ( but he wasn't able to specify at what stage ) if the wireless mouse the minimac is provided with isn't switched on before the g-i boots. Please test it extensively yourself first and let us know the results. Wider testing is only useful if there are no obvious issues. While on the subject, I've written some notes (see bottom of [1]) about changes Involved when building test images based on the new packages. It's my intention to test and see which of the currently open bugs still reproduce, So that once we'll do the switch, we'll also know exatctly what gets fixed.
