I think that's great, though I got into the habbit of bcc:ing people by now...

  where did you push to?

I got caught into testing d-i with some extra packages and I actually
managed to send the mail pretending I pushed something I didn't, woops.
 Fixed now:

:-)

I was hoping you prepared changes to jenkins.d.n's git repo and added those
warnings yourself, so that I'd merely need to pull them in... ;-)

I will do so myself and then send the diff to this thread, so you get an idea
how simple it is to add new warnings ;-)

cheers,
Holger

for future reference, this would be easier for everyone involved:

git clone ssh://git.debian.org/git/qa/jenkins.debian.net.git
vi jenkins.debian.net/logparse/debian-installer.rules
$send_patches_or_pull_requests

That said, if asked for, I'll happily edit those warnings for you. I just
think it might be easier to DIY.

I've just pushed a patch to deal with the job server warnings, as
 proposed in:
   https://lists.debian.org/debian-boot/2013/06/msg00071.html

where did you push to?

 The following remain:
dpkg: warning: trying to overwrite '.*', which is also in package
 busybox-udeb .* dpkg-genchanges: warning: the current version (.*) is
earlier than the previous one (.*)

I don't think the first one points to a real issue. The second one could
be worked on/fixed by setting a more appropriate version in changelog
but since there's no upgrade path to consider, I don't think it's a good
idea to keep the build in the “unstable” state just for that.

ack

I'm not sure what we should do with the last one:
mkfs.fat: warning - lowercase labels might not work properly with DOS or
 Windows

since I'm not sure about possible consequences. I'm putting debian-cd@
in the loop since they might have some insight to share.

:-)

so can I pull your changes from somewhere or what shall I do?

cheers,
Holger

Filtering out the two warnings before your 'ack' should be a nice first
step. I'll probably annoy you some more once I've got some feedback
about the lowercase label thing if we go for ignoring that kind of
warnings too.
