I found that there are some additional changings needed to get the desired
results (bad research on my side, sorry!).

I just did another tasksel upload (3.67), to get that fixed.
A diff is attached.

However, there was the need of another source-only upload anyway, to allow
tasksel to migrate to testing (policy after an binary upload).
So, not too much hassle, I hope.

Done with a source+binaries upload, thanks!

bullseye's lintian spots those when building the source package, but
that doesn't seem quite important at this stage, so I definitely won't
block on it:

W: tasksel source: national-encoding debian/po/es.po
W: tasksel source: national-encoding debian/po/hr.po
W: tasksel source: national-encoding debian/po/pl.po

Oh, that part totally slipped my mind. I'd be happy to advocate you if
you ever decide to start the NM process.

Could someone upload tasksel 3.66 for me, please?

Since I only have DM upload rights, I cannot do this, because this upload
adds new packages.

tasksel is prepared ready for upload in git.

Thanks!

I just noticed, there is again something wrong with your upload (tasksel 3.55):

- in git, there is no commit to prepare for uploading 3.55
(the changelog still says "tasksel (3.55) UNRELEASED; urgency=medium")

- therefore the tag for 3.55 is also missing

Could you please correct this? Thanks

Holger

Hi Nicolas,

for your latest "tasksel" upload, the corresponding tag is still missing:
https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/tasksel/-/tags

Could you please add it?
Thanks

tasksel upload

2016-04-06 Thread Yves-Alexis Perez
Hi,

I've made some changes to tasksel recently, which I've pushed to the
repository. As there were some errors when pushing, I guess no mail was sent
to the list (not sure if it's usually the case anyway), so I'm sending a mail
to notify you. There's no urgency to the upload.

Here is the dpkg-parsechangelog output:

Source: tasksel
Version: 3.35
Distribution: UNRELEASED
Urgency: medium
Maintainer: Yves-Alexis Perez
Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2016 16:29:04 +0100
Changes:
 tasksel (3.35) UNRELEASED; urgency=medium
 .
   * debian/control:
 - replace iceweasel by firefox-esr now that it has entered the archive.
 - drop firefox language packages not present in the archive.
 - add light-locker to xfce dependencies

Yeah. I asked the ftp team to fix some sections, so this is gone.

Only other concerning thing is the removal of task-fields, but
I suppose if a CDD is using this they will speak up.

I think so. It will also allow for testing if the byhand handling for
it will work as well. (it had issues on last installer upload but
looks fixed now).

If you can take care of it, it would be nice. Otherwise ping me and I do it.
