Re: recent kfreebsd-kernel-headers fixes
Hi Christoph, After kfreebsd-kernel-headers 0.70 is built and installed on the buildd's, some more packages should build successfully (or at least get further through the build, if any other bugs remain). Please consider queueing these for rebuild. Fixed soundcard.h (in 0.67) and fix for __aligned (in 0.70) : * hamfax -- tested myself and now builds okay on kfreebsd-i386 * libfprint * zabbix Fix for __size_t (in 0.70) : * php5 Fix for __time_t (in 0.67) : * cynthiune.app * fwbuilder * sg3-utils * crossroads -- tried building myself but it now fails with a different error, which seems to make more sense than the C++ overload error message in the last build log I hope this helps reduce the number of build failures you're dealing with. On 28/01/12 14:52, Christoph Egger wrote: > Doing so now. feel free to reassign such bugs yourself. Please see my attached patch. The patch looks fine in principle. Do the resulting binaries work? (i.e. can you play single-player, and preferably also host and join a networked server?) I notice that QuakeSpasm uses OpenGL: does kFreeBSD have hardware-accelerated 3D, or if not, is software performance acceptable? They're probably easiest to test by downloading the shareware version of Quake 1 and packaging it with game-data-packager; they should also work with OpenQuartz (GPL), but I don't know the specifics. Bug#656562: some __aligned issues remain
El 28 de gener de 2012 2:58, Steven Chamberlain ha escrit: > Please consider my attached diff for kfreebsd-kernel-headers. The regex > \([0-9A-Z_]*\) covers these remaining cases. > > Something more generic, like \([^)]*\?\) might seem better, but then it > would have wrongly modified this also: > > ./usr/include/osreldate.h:#define __aligned(x) > __attribute__((__aligned__(x))) The osreldate.h definitions don't really belong there, they're just historical. Besides, osreldate.h is added by the patchset and regex rule is run before patching.
