Bug#765882: freebsd-net-tools: ifconfig ioctl siocaifaddr

2014-10-18 Thread tester
Package: freebsd-net-tools
Version: jessie/sid
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

I saw a bug report of this same problem from feb, claiming it was fixed in
the latest package, it isnt or the problem is something else but either way,the
network is completely dead after an upgrade to jessie on Kfreebsd, the network
shows up using ifconfig, but it has no IP4 address, and when I restart the
network it says it cant bring it up, but it is up, I tried adding a static
address , and that didnt work either, so the box is dead you cant fix things
with out internet.
