Bug#431054: Me four.

2007-07-06 Thread Brandon
I get this bug too. 100% reproducable so far. I would like to point out
that actually installing or upgrading or removing a package is
unnecessary. These are my steps to reproduce:

1) start aptitude
2) press "g" twice
Pressing keys has no effect. Although, I can abort out of aptitude with
Ctrl-C. When I do this, the characters that I had typed are on the
command line.

I am using the latest version of aptitude in testing, 0.4.5.4-1. Just
"upgraded" today.

I'd be happy to help if I can. You might need to CC me if you want my
help.

I think I have solved this. A patch is attached.

I also filed it upstream (URI above) with a long description of what
caused the bug.

Bug#422427: synaptic: Synaptic and dumb terminal

2007-07-06 Thread Giovanni Bortolozzo
Package: synaptic
Version: 0.60
Followup-For: Bug #422427

Same problem also for me since the upgrade to gnome 2.18. This problem
comes not only with debconf but also with the output of apt-listchanges
that is piped to a 'less' (that comes first than the actual package
upgrade/installation).

This is a very boring problem

Bug#432057: allow temporary install

2007-07-06 Thread Luca Brivio
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.5.4-1
Severity: wishlist

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

It is not unfrequent that people do install packages just in order to give
them a try, even because in Debian installing packages is so easy, safe, and
clean. In my experience, it's quite frequent to forget to either remove or
further be trying them. Another rationale for wanting installed packages to
be removed/purged (semi-)automatically is when they are needed only for a
really short time.
In my weird opinion, it would be nice if one could "temp-install" packages so
that when running after at least a specified (or defaulted) amount of time
aptitude would warn her/him about their presence and make her/him choice
among either:
1) just remove them (and their no more used dependencies), or
2) let them installed and pause warnings for a specified amount of time, or
3) let them installed and stop warnings forever, or
4) just ignore this for that time.
The above-mentioned quantity of time might be provided as a command-line
parameter.

Of course, this would imply information about temporarily installed packages
to be stored somewhere. I have no valuable knowledge about aptitude's
internals.

Bug#432056: Openarena dumps botlib.log file in current directory.

2007-07-06 Thread Brandon
Package: openarena
Version: 0.6.0-2
Severity: minor

OpenArena dumps the file botlib.log in the current directory. This
isn't dangerous, nor does it make anything unstable, but it is annoying.

A simple fix would be to configure the /usr/games/openarena script to
delete this file on exit. I don't recommend this. It would fail if
openarena, or the computer, crashed, or if openarena was kill -9'ed. It
also wouldn't work if that script was bypassed, or replaced with a
similar script (such as to use custom maps by default). The proper
solution would be to find the code that does this, and remove it.

Bug#432055: O: xmms-midi -- MIDI plugin for XMMS

2007-07-06 Thread Paul Wise
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the xmms-midi package.

The package description is:
This plugin enables XMMS to play MIDI files through Timidity.

I no longer use XMMS. The plugin is useful and no other MIDI solution
for XMMS seems to exist. Unfortunately the plugin has some issues and
there is no upstream available to work on it. The main issue is that it
duplicates code from timidity instead of interfacing with timidity. It
might be better to rewrite this plugin with libfluidsynth or just get it
to run the timidity binary. Anyone who wants to adopt the plugin should
be also willing to take over upstream development:

Bug#432054: videolink: Link processing broken by xulrunner ABI change

Severity: grave

An ABI change in xulrunner has broken VideoLink: the nsIContent
interface implemented by DOM nodes has changed and the old interface
is not available; this results in an assertion failure.

This appears to be fixable simply by rebuilding it. However I need to
upload a new version soon anyway, so I am not requesting a rebuild.

So, 'dev->bid_type' is garbage when blkid_verify is called, and that's
causing an infinite loop. It is supposed to be NULL if we don't know
what the requested block device type is (the original command was
'sudo mount -o loop,offset=31744 xo-initrd-test.img
xo-initrd-test-mnt' ie, there was no -t option given). Setting
dev->bid_type to NULL allows the mount to complete 'normally' -- it
gives:

mount: you must specify the filesystem type

Reinvoking mount with an explicit -t option succeeds without problem
(no infinite loop this time):

$ sudo mount -o loop,offset=31744 -t ext3 xo-initrd-test.img xo-initrd-test-mnt

In particular, single-stepping through the loop indicates that we are looping
between line 966 and 1006 of e2fsprogs-1.40/lib/blkid/probe.c. We iterate
though the entire type_array table (lines 977-996) without reaching
found_type, so we "Zap the device filesystem information and try again" ---
but we don't find it when we try again, either. Infinite loop.

Let me know if I can provide any further information to help you debug this.

Bug#418203: pmount problem with stale network shares

I've just run such a scenario again. I have a samba mountpoint "/mnt/bulk"
that's gone stale (mounted when I'm on my home network, but now I'm elsewhere,
not a chance of it re-establishing). My current working directory is /root .

Running "pmount -d /dev/cdrom" just hangs - no debugging output. Doing the same
with strace enabled (and running as root - strace clobbers setuid) -

getcwd("/root", 4096) = 6
lstat64("/root/none", 0xbf98b89c) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
lstat64("/home", {st_mode=S_IFDIR|0755, st_size=4096, ...}) = 0
lstat64("/mnt", {st_mode=S_IFDIR|0700, st_size=4096, ...}) = 0
lstat64("/mnt/bulk",

^ this is the point at which it hangs, I hit ctrl+c after about 10 seconds
which yielded the 'unfinished' part. To clarify, it's entirely unnecessary for
pmount to lstat this network mount, it's nothing to do with /dev/cdrom , the
destination mountpoint, or my cwd (which is /root) . Obviously, lstat-ing a
stale network mountpoint hangs while the kernel keeps retrying requests to the
samba server until some timeout (takes about a minute I think?), but there's
really no reason pmount needs to do this. In previous cases, once I've let it
go timeout on that mountpoint, it's gone on to my next stale network mount and
hung similarly. Eventually it gets round to mounting the CD like I told it to
:-)

gadi suggested adding ATTRS{removable}=="1" to the udev rules. i tried
the following, but it broke CDROM support, but the local hard disk
wasn't mounted. so some progress, but more exploration is needed.

This package should *definitely* be removed from sid; it's pretty crusty
at this point.

In fact, I have the same packages on my PowerBook, but the bug isn't
present there. So, I doubt that this comes from the package version.

> If it doesn't help, any idea when the bug appeared and what has been

The bug has always been there on this machine, which was installed
in October 2006.

I've just noticed that on the machines where the bug has never been
present have:

Driver "keyboard"

but on the machine where the bug is present, I have:

Driver "kbd"

I can't test "keyboard" on this machine now. But could this make
a difference? ("kbd" was chosen automatically at install time.)

Bug#428732: [krbdev.mit.edu #5593] kadmin crashes during password changes

2007-07-06 Thread Ken Raeburn
I just tried on our x86_64 etch system (1.4.4-7etch1 kadmind
installed), and with a few simple tests, couldn't reproduce the
problem. I set up a realm FOOBAR.X with a user principal ken with
admin privileges, ran "kadmin -p ken -q 'cpw ken'" and then "kpasswd"
a few times, sometimes re-using the same password, sometimes trying
different passwords (all short).

However, after a reminder from Tom Yu that we had some int/pointer
problems fixed in that code a while back, I built -7etch1 (since
-7etch2 doesn't seem to be on the servers I'm using?), worked out a
rough function call stack from the stack trace in the Debian bug
report, and found this once I knew where to look:

../../../src/kadmin/server/misc.c:148: warning: assignment makes
pointer from integer without a cast

Line 148: time_string = ctime(&until);

A disassembly confirms that the compiler is widening the assumed int
return value from ctime, from 32 to 64 bits, when in fact it's a 64-
bit pointer. I tried calling ctime under gdb, and it showed me a 32-
bit value with the high bit set. Whether that's the true value, or
gdb was confused about the return type and truncated to 32 bits, I
don't know. But either way, that high bit in the low 32 is going to
get copied into the upper 32 bits, probably not what we want.

This code path requires that the principal in question have a policy
dictating a minimum time before the password can be changed, and a
password change made before that time has elapsed. (I should've
thought of that given the description of changing passwords
specifically in a short time.) Andrew, does that describe your
situation? If so, changing src/kadmin/server/misc.c to include
 could fix the problem.

Ken

Bug#432042: firmware-qlogic: firmware not loading

2007-07-06 Thread Matt Taggart
Package: firmware-qlogic
Version: 0.4
Severity: important

I noticed that after installing firmware-qlogic my system was still failing
to load the firmware on boot,

qla2xxx :10:00.0: Cable is unplugged...
scsi0 : qla2xxx

I looked at the package and saw that it provides hooks to initramfs, but
it's not clear that they were working. I looked at firmware-qlogic's
postinst and found this,

case "$1" in
configure)
if [ -x /usr/sbin/update-initramfs -a -e
/etc/mkinitramfs/initramfs.conf ] ; then
update-initramfs -u
fi
;;

I don't have that conf file on my system and it's not clear that I need it.
I ran "update-initramfs -u" by hand and then on the next reboot the
firmware loaded properly,

qla2xxx :10:00.1: Found an ISP2432, irq 90, iobase 0xc201a000
qla2xxx :10:00.1: Configuring PCI space...

qla2xxx :10:00.1: Waiting for LIP to complete...
qla2xxx :10:00.1: Cable is unplugged...
scsi1 : qla2xxx

Is there a reason the postinst is checking for that file?

This version is also the same in etch. Whatever the bug/fix, it would be
nice if it could be fixed in etch as well.

Thanks,

Bug#432040: texlive-lang-greek: Missing built documentation

2007-07-06 Thread Reuben Thomas
Package: texlive-lang-greek
Version: 2007.dfsg.1-3
Severity: normal

The file lgreekuse.tex(.gz) is not available in built form. This file
seems to be duplicated in texlive-doc, but there's no built (DVI or
PDF) version there either.

The same applies to other files (e.g. greekuse.tex(.gz)).

-- Package-specific info:
If you report an error when running one of the TeX-related binaries

error in your report. Don't forget to also include minimal examples of
other files that are needed, e.g. bibtex databases. Often it also helps
to include the logfile. Please, never send included pictures!

Bug#432037: texlive-base-bin: texdoc should use "see" as default viewer for every type

2007-07-06 Thread Reuben Thomas
Package: texlive-base-bin
Version: 2007-12

By using "see" as the universal default, the user can configure
viewers for file types displayed by texdoc using the standard MIME
type configuration tools, rather than having to learn yet another
system. This will also result (even without any user action) in more
sensible defaults on many systems.

Bug#431715: ITA: gdome2

Hi Enrico,

if you don't object, I'd like to assimilate this one into my list
of dormant-upstream packages. I have built a new version that
closes all open bug reports and updates the build system (debhelper
v5 etc.).

Bug#432035: libpam-foreground: shared library is missing dependency information

When building the source, this lintian error is reported:

The Ubuntu version of the package contain this patch with the
changelog comment "Add missing linker options (LP: #76364), thanks to

Adding this patch changes the lintian warning to this one:

The following patch take care of both. It is based on a patch from
Daniel Hess.

It looks very much from my looking at the images that one of the right clicks
is on the icq flower on that contact - and the other one is just right
clicking on the user not near the icq flower.

I have been clicking and clicking and clicking and not ever been able to
reproduce this (except when I accidentally clicks on the icq flower or the
jabber light bulb)

Are you absolutely sure about this ?

Bug#432032: libpango1.0-0: Japanese characters rendered invisible

For a few days now Japanese characters are rendered invisible in all
kind of GTK based applications. Since I didn’t upgrade my GTK libs for a
long time, only Pango can be involved, AFAIS.

Have a look at this directory listing from Thunar:

(It’s the same in GTKFilePicker and other GTK based apps.)

This is the way it ought to look:

If this is NOT pango related, please point me into the correct direction
since I’m puzzled why this happens.

ipw3945 associates to the wireless infrastructure using:

iwconfig eth2 essid any

which in turn associates with the correct ssid. I am able to obtain an
IPAddress
using DHCP after many DHCPREQUESTs. Network traffic does pass very slowly and
frequent drops
occur. Overall, I would consider wireless unusable.

What is important to take away is the following:

- Similar behavior running etch on different versions of the module.
- Using an kubuntu live cd (7.0.4) wireless works out of the box:

Details of kubuntu 7.0.4 with working module:

Bug#432023: ITP: ll-core -- Core modules used by all ll- and other modules

2007-07-06 Thread Bernd Zeimetz

>> ll-core is a collection of the following modules:
>
> I suggest explaining what is "ll-"...:-)

not sure if I want to advertise for livinglogic in a package
description, and it wouldn't rise the value of information. It doesn't
say anythign really useful, as Stefano stated, but I have no idea how to
summarize the long description into a good short one.
The modules in the package are not only useful for the modules written
by livinglogic, but also for the "normal" user/coder.

Upstream suggests
LivingLogic base package: ansistyle, color, make, sisyphus, xpit, url
in the PKG-INFO file, but that line will wither be outdated or too long
with the next update.

What about something like
"Base modules for software created by LivingLogic"
but imho the value of information is still pretty low.

Any suggestions are welcome :)

Bug#431966: More information

2007-07-06 Thread Sander Marechal
I tested a couple of more things. First off, there was a bug in my
umountcifs script from my original bug report. I have attached an
updated version that does work. In order for this to work it has to run
in /etc/rc0.d/ as K19 or earlier. There is a bunch of stuff that gets
shut down at K20 that cifs needs to unmount filesystems.

So therein lies the real bug. Cifs shares are now unmounted by
umountnfs.sh at S31 but they need things that are only running up to
K20. Sadly I don't have enough cifs knowledge to know *what* if needs,
nor do I have the time right now to test everything that is stopped at
K20 (there's quite a bunch that run at K20). If I had to take a wild
guess I'd say portmap, since a similar issue exist(ed) with NSF.

Bug#432028: python-codespeak-lib: please support python2.5

2007-07-06 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: python-codespeak-lib
Version: 0.9.0-3
Severity: normal

Heya,

please support python 2.5 with python-codespeak-lib, especially since
there're good chances that py2.5 will be the default version for Lenny.

Thanks,

Bernd

P.S. Maintaining packages in a team like
http://python-modules.alioth.debian.org/ makes many things much more
stressless. This bug would be fixed allready, if the package would be in
the team's repository.

Hello Gerfried,

I do not think popularity-contest only check the first match. If this is
the case I would like more information on the problem.

Bug#432029: man-db will fail to install on chmod root:root if the root group does not exist

2007-07-06 Thread Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason
Package: man-db

Severity: important

man-db will fail to fully install unless the root group exists on the
system:

dpkg: error processing man-db (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:

This can obviously be worked around by creating the root group:

sh-3.1$ sudo groupadd root

However this group was not present in my 4.0 install by default which
probably makes it a issue in man-db or the install system.

Bug#432027: RFA: ipmitool -- utility for IPMI control with kernel driver or LAN interface

2007-07-06 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I've concluded that I need to reduce the number of packages I
maintain, and offer the ipmitool package for adoption. I lack the
hardware to test it, and it could use a caring hand. It is a tool to
extract hardware status from computers providing the IPMI interface
(mostly Intel servers).

This is the full package description:

Description: utility for IPMI control with kernel driver or LAN interface
A utility for managing and configuring devices that support the
Intelligent Platform Management Interface. IPMI is an open standard
for monitoring, logging, recovery, inventory, and control of hardware
that is implemented independent of the main CPU, BIOS, and OS. The
service processor (or Baseboard Management Controller, BMC) is the
brain behind platform management and its primary purpose is to handle
the autonomous sensor monitoring and event logging features.

The ipmitool program provides a simple command-line interface to this
BMC. It features the ability to read the sensor data repository
(SDR) and print sensor values, display the contents of the System
Event Log (SEL), print Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) inventory
information, read and set LAN configuration parameters, and perform
 remote chassis power control.

At the moment the package contain 7 bugs, one of the RC (missing
kernel header). It is written in C.

Happy hacking,

after some off-line chatting, it turned out that the contents of

It then turned out that this is caused by having the user nobody not

I'm therefore merging this with #429405.

This short description sounds quite useless to me, as it's zero
informative. Also notice that "ll-", which I guess is a package in
Debian, is not mentioned at all in the long description.

Sorry for not having a better proposal out of the box tough.

2007-07-06 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen

Package: ltspfs
Version: 0.4.3+debian2

In Debian Edu, one tester discovered that the user logging into a LTSP
thin client with a local hard drive got read/write access to the
content of that hard drive. The bug report is in
http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1209>, and I quote:

When the user looks in /media/$USERNAME he will have full read
access to the harddrive in the thinclient. This is not what one
might expect, and is a disaster in i lot of real-life settings. One
such real-life setting where that would mean trouble is in schools
where they sometimes use teachers laptops to get extra clients
during special times, for example when they have exams, and they
need to double the number of available machine for a short time.

Oh, when the harddrive contained windows(ntfs) the disk was
read-only, but when the harddrive had linux, it was read/write!

This is a serious problem for Debian Edu, as no sysadmin expect
non-root users to gain direct access to the local hard drive,
especially when PXE-booting a machine.

It would be better if the local device access provided by ltspfs was
limited to removable media only.

Happy hacking,

Hi,

as just said on IRC, I'd include it if they had a madison.cgi
interface. There's one in the QA svn:

Bug#432022: wengophone: Please package version 2.1.1

Package: wengophone
Version: 2.1.0.dfsg-3+b1

Hi,

today I had my first success with wengophone 2.1.0 - I was able to make
an audio test call. Now can't reproduce anything any more, as I always
get a segfault after starting up. Could you package 2.1.1, so we can
test if it works any better?

Greetings,

Johannes

Bug#432023: ITP: ll-core -- Core modules used by all ll- and other modules

2007-07-06 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Bernd Zeimetz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

* Package name: ll-core
  Version : 1.9.1
  Upstream Author : Walter Doerwald <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* URL : http://www.livinglogic.de/Python/core/index.html
* License : Python lic.
  Programming Lang: Python
Description : Core modules used by ll- and other packages

ll-core is a collection of the following modules:
 .
   * 'ansistyle' can be used for colored terminal output (via
 ANSI escape sequences).
   * 'color' provides classes and functions for handling
 RGB color values.
   * 'make' is an object oriented make replacement.
   * 'misc' provides several small utility functions and
 classes.
   * 'sisyphus' provides classes for running Python scripts as
 cron jobs.
*'daemon' can be used on UNIX to fork a daemon process.
   * 'url' contains an RFC2396 compliant implementation of
URLs and classes for accessing resource metadata
as well as file like classes for reading data
from URLs and writing data to URLs.
   * 'xpit' is a module that makes it possible to embed Python
expressions in text (as XML style processing
 instructions).

If anybody can come up with a better short description - please let me
know. I'm packaging this module collection as dep. of XIST (itp

Bug#426366: postgresql-8.2: upper(), lower(), and ilike are broken on UNICODE databases

2007-07-06 Thread Erwin Brandstetter

Hi Emil! Hi everyone!

Emil, are you sure you were connected to right database when running
your tests?
I have been having major problems with this bug in version pg 8.1.*, but
I think it has been fixed in 8.2.

See the results of my tests:

test=# select version();
version
-
PostgreSQL 8.2.4 on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC cc (GCC) 4.1.2
20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)

event=# show client_encoding;
client_encoding
-
UTF8

test=# select upper ('ÖöÜüÄäßĆČćč€ĞğīŃńŇňŐőŘřŠšşŽžŻżÓóŁłĆć');
upper
---
ÖÖÜÜÄÄßĆČĆČ€ĞĞĪŃŃŇŇŐŐŘŘŠŠŞŽŽŻŻÓÓŁŁĆĆ

test=# select lower('ÖöÜüÄäßĆČćč€ĞğīŃńŇňŐőŘřŠšşŽžŻżÓóŁłĆć');
lower
---
ööüüääßćčćč€ğğīńńňňőőřřššşžžżżóółłćć

test=# select 'ööüüääßćčćč€ğğńńňňőőřřššşžžżżóółłćć' ilike
'ÖÖÜÜÄÄßĆČĆČ€ĞĞŃŃŇŇŐŐŘŘŠŠŞŽŽŻŻÓÓŁŁĆĆ';

?column?
--
t

None of the above works properly in pg 8.1.
HOWEVER there IS a problematic case with characters like 'ı' - notice
the missing dot, it is not 'i'.
Upper case representation of 'ı' is 'I', but lower case representation
of 'I' is 'i' - at least according to lower() and upper().

test=# select upper('ı');
upper
---
I

test=# select lower ('I');
lower
---
i

test=# select 'ı' ilike 'I';
?column?
--
f

test=# select 'I' ilike 'ı';
?column?
--
f

Everything is converted to lower() before comparing, so 'ı' and 'I' will
never match.

But shouldn't they?

Is this the right place for these comments?

Regards
Erwin Brandstetter

Bug#432020: acpi-support: Please add LSB formatted dependency info in init.d script

2007-07-06 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen

Package: acpi-support
Version: 0.90-4
Tags: patch

To be able to check boot script order, and also to be able to start
boot scripts in parallel, it is important to know the dependencies of
the various boot scripts. The Linux Software Base specifies a init.d
header file format useful for this purpose, and adding such header to
the scripts would make it possible for me to use this information to
check the current sequence and speed up the debian boot.

http://refspecs.freestandards.org/LSB_2.1.0/LSB-generic/LSB-generic/initscrcomconv.html>
documents the LSB header format, and
http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts> summarizes it in the
Debian context.

Here is a proposed dependency header to document the dependencies of
this packages init.d scripts. It is slightly tested using the insserv
package and the new parallell booting support in sysvinit.

### BEGIN INIT INFO
# Provides: acpi-support
# Required-Start:$local_fs $remote_fs
# Required-Stop: $local_fs $remote_fs
# Default-Start: 2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop: 0 1 6
### END INIT INFO

### BEGIN INIT INFO
# Provides: vbesave
# Required-Start:$local_fs $remote_fs
# Required-Stop: $local_fs $remote_fs
# Default-Start: 2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop: 0 1 6
### END INIT INFO

Please upload a fixed version into unstable soon, to make it possible
to verify the boot sequence and get this in place for Lenny.

Happy hacking,

Bug#404640: Worse

2007-07-06 Thread Micah Anderson

What is worse is that even if you set an admin_pw, if you connect via
localhost you will get full admin access to the system, and are
presented with the password in clear-text.

This wouldn't be a problem if debian wasn't a multi-user system by design.

According to the IRC channel:

13:12 < rpedde> That's fixed post-that. somewhere around r1500 or so
13:12 < rpedde> if pw is set, it prompts, even from localhost, but
that's from nightlies.
13:13 < rpedde> nightlies at http://nightlies.mt-daapd.org
13:13 < hacim> debian package needs updating then
13:13 < rpedde> yes
13:13 < rpedde> was fixed in response to ticket filed against package,
but hasn't made it downstream yet.

Please update!

Thanks,

Hi Steffen,

Yes I had a look at that and saw that your patch wasn't included in the
source, but the upstream changelog certainly states:

Changes in 2.1.4
- Fixed problem with files with .. in their name

In fact the upstream patch to fix this was a bit different to yours from the
CVE.

That's not true. It *might* be a good idea to assume it, but given the
intention is perfectly clear, it's certainly not a requirement.

It would be better if the intention were explicitly written out (ie,
"You may distribute and modify provided you do such and such") rather
than implied ("You must do such and such if you redistribute"), of course.

Bug#431102: wpasupplicant: New version doesn't allow empty essid?

2007-07-06 Thread obi
Hello Kel,

so the log is attached: it keeps telling me that it doesn't know how to
associate the AP. I'm not sure sure what do you mean for higher level
tool, but ifconfig and route tells me that I'm not online.

Btw, running dhcpclient manually (that is not doing ifup which brings
wpa_supplicant go) brings my interface up and all is well.

And downgrading to the stable version (0.5.5-2) fixes it: this version
works.

thanks
graziano

For the record, I agree with Don's analysis.

Again, I agree with Don.

Bug#432016: zope-pas: missing Dep. on zope-genericsetup

2007-07-06 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: zope-pas
Version: 1.4.1-1
Severity: normal

0 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ grep Depends
/usr/share/zope/Products/PluggableAuthService/.dzproduct
Depends: GenericSetup
0 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

0 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apt-cache show zope-pas | grep Depends
Depends: zope-common (>= 0.5.26), zope2.10 | zope2.9 | zope2.8

Probably those mistakes are the problem of zope-debhelper not beeing
able to figure out which _packages_ are required as Dependency to fulfil
the need of the pacakged Product.
