Bug#861910: maradns-deadwood: deadwood is labeled stable by upstream, how about a full package?

2017-06-10 Thread Sam Trenholme
To ask for better MX record handling in Deadwood is a feature request,
not a bug report. And upstream’s answer is: I’m not going to do that.
Most people should be using their ISPs mail hub to send mail, not a
small virtual server.

The nice thing about open source is that Andreas (or anyone else) is
free to update Deadwood to have better MX support if this is something
which scratches his itch (he can fix the issues with out-of-bailiwick
CNAME record handling while he’s still inspired to do a bunch of work
for free) — but that’s not my itch.

Deadwood’s big advantage of dnamasq is that it allows stuff like “use
slow in house DNS servers to resolve hostname.example.com, but use
8.8.8.8/4.2.2.1/whatever to resolve anything anything else” in a
configuration file (dnsmasq handles that with a special “-S” flag).

Bug#864592: [gnome-session] GNOME extensions deactivated after lock unlock

2017-06-10 Thread Francewhoa
Package: gnome-session
Version: 3.14.0-2
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

Hi Debian and Gnome enthousiasts :)

Summary:
Lock then unlock GNOME session result in all GNOME extensions to be
deactivated. Intermittent bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install fresh Debian 8.8 Jessie

2. Using https://extensions.gnome.org install and activate all the
following extensions:
alt-tab-worksp...@kwalo.net (version 10.0)

workspace-g...@mathematical.coffee.gmail.com (version 18.0)

topIcons@adel.gadl...@gmail.com (version 29.0)

disable-screenshi...@lgpasquale.com (version 7.0)

hams...@projecthamster.wordpress.com (version 26.0)

cpufreq@konkor (version 12.0)

3. Lock GNOME session

4. Unlock GNOME session. Notice that all extensions are now deactivated
:( Expected result is that they should remaining activated per their
configuration.

5. Using "Tweak Tool"/"gnome-tweak-tool" re-activate all those
extensions. Restart GNOME by pressing "ALT-F2" keys, type "r", press
"Enter" key. The extensions are now working.

6. Lock GNOME session again

7. Unlock GNOME session again. Issue is reproduced again. All extensions
are deactivated. This bug is intermittent though. It depends on various
factors, including but not limited:
• Which extensions are activated
• Your personal configuration with "gnome-tweak-tool" and
"gnome-session" packages

8. This issue can also be reproduce with rebooting, instead of lock and
unlock the session. Same steps to reproduce as above. But simply reboot.

What I tried that was effective but temporary:
Here is a related Ubuntu ticket which includes some temporary fixes,
such as:
# 12 at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1236749/comments/12
# 57 at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1236749/comments/57

What I tried that was ineffective:
• Restart GNOME by pressing "ALT-F2" keys, type "r", press "Enter" key.
• Rebooting
• Using Terminal as user, run "gnome-tweak-tool" to see if any
significant error where returned
• Activate the extension using http://extensions.gnome.org insted of
"Tweak Tool"/"gnome-tweak-tool"
• Review “dconf-editor” for any suspicious configuration.
/org/gnome/shell/disable-user-extensions default value was already set
to “false”
• I created a ticket at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1697229
After I created that ticket I realized that that launchpad seems to be
for Ubuntu. Since gnome-session is primarily maintain by bugs.debian.org
it seems more appropriate to create this ticket with bugs.debian.org

System:
• Base system: Debian 8.8 Jessie, 64-bit
• Gnome: 3.14.1
• gnome-tweak-tool: 3.14.2-2
• gnome-session: 3.14.0-2
• gnome-session-bin: 3.14.0-2
• gnome-session-common: 3.14.0-2
• Kernel: 4.9.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.25-1~bpo8+1 (2017-05-19)

I would be happy to contribute testing if needed

That's fair, but means that the autobuilders spend time attempting to
run builds that will definitely not succeed. I would report an upstream
bug and meanwhile restrict the Architecture setting.

I suspect there's no easy fix here, so you might just have to report an
upstream bug and meanwhile restrict the package's Architecture setting.

I just removed the workaround on my stretch system, and it still reboots
and powers off correctly. So hopefully it has been fixed (I am not sure,
because the workaround looks a lot like it's avoiding a race condition
somewhere).

That would indicate most probably a truncated .deb package. Pleas make
sure the downloaded package is complete, by checking its checksums
against the Packages file, or by redownloading or similar.

Otherwise, I'm tempted to just close this bug report.

Looking at linux.git, it seems this driver is built as a module, but there's
no i2c-modules udeb for armhf. I don't think this bug is critical enough to
have a linux upload before r0 (unless something is in the works already),
but I'm a little concerned that postponing a bug fix for r1 wouldn't be too
nice… Adding a new binary package in a point release feels wrong. :(

Hi,

This is a pre-approval request to upload to unstable if it will be accepted for
stretch, if it's not too late.

Apart from a bunch of translations (filtered out from the debdiff), the changes
for these versions include the removal of a spurious warning printed to the
screen, changes to the priority of the packages in the repo (probably without
many practical consequences because it's overriden, but...), and a couple of
improvements to documentation.

So these are not crucial to include in the next stable, but in principle they
are pretty innocuous and shouldn't cause problems.

debdiff attached.

This bug is caused by a slight ABI adjustment to "operator
std::string()" functions in GCC 7 (see the GCC 7 porting guide [1]).
This is not an ABI break, but it does require libsfml to be rebuilt
against GCC 7 first before reverse dependencies can be.

Once GCC 7 becomes the default compiler, I'll upload a new version of
libsfml with some shlibs bumps which should resolve this without any
changes to extremetuxracer.

Thanks for the hint, I'll upload it when the Debian freeze ends, which
is just a matter of days now. There is an ABI breakage compared to v3.0
(cfg_scan_string_begin and cfg_scan_string_end have been removed), so I
still have to decide if it is better to reintroduce these symbols
locally, ignore them or do an ABI transition.

It's very unlikely anyone ever used them, they were part of the
internal lexer API and have been replaced by a common FILE *fp
API using cfg_scan_fp_begin/end(), neither of which are part of
the official API.

Bug#860808: ocfs2 blocks jbd2

2017-06-10 Thread Russell Mosemann

It has been reported several times. There doesn't seem to be any movement on
it. All that remains is to document the situation.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there's anything we can do about these
bugs until the upstream ocfs2 developers take an interest in them.

Yes that's what I meant, sorry wrote in a hurry :-) - config-package-dev
automates generating dpkg-divert snippets for the maintainer scripts, I've used
it a lot and I find it quite handy. It's a build-time tool. We can do it
manually too of course!

I'll give it a test tomorrow for the alternate json and check that it works
with the applications I've got.

This is because
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_a_Domain_Member
tells: "On debian related systems you wil see 127.0.1.1 hostname also
in /etc/hosts remove it before you install samba."

>172.16.0.209 sambawb.work.company sambawb
I had it in /etc/hosts before and removed it following wiki.samba.org.
I will put it back.

> ( recommended turn of dhcp, use static ips for the servers )
I will think about it.
But just to be clear: what exactly do you mean with 'server'? My debian
machines are only 'domain members' and are not providing any shares or
printers to the network. I think 'server' is samba terminology meaning
that it is providing services e.g. to PAM on the local machine. Right?

No, that's not the case. I see 'uid=0' but my username is just an
ordinary domain user. It's neither "root" nor "Administrator". The
domain user isn't a domain admin, too - it's a restricted domain
account. I have several domain accounts to test and whenever it fails I
see 'uid=0', too. Doesn't matter what (unprivilged) account I use.
I remove the homedir on logout and recreate it on logon with
pam_mkhomedir.

user Adminsitrator.

mapping.

Okay, I think that is the point:
When it fails I see:
Jun 10 22:21:50 COMPUTERXY sshd[3207]: Invalid user domainuser from
172.16.0.235
Jun 10 22:21:50 COMPUTERXY sshd[3207]: input_userauth_request: invalid

authentication failure; logname=domainuser uid=0 euid=0 tty=ssh ruser=
rhost=computer.work.company

and on success it is (same machine, same user, just some time later,
e.g. after a local user logged in):
Jun 10 23:23:22 COMPUTERXY sshd[9459]: pam_krb5(sshd:auth): user
domainuser authenticated as domainuser@WORK.COMPANY
Jun 10 23:23:22 COMPUTERXY pam-script[9459]: can not
stat /usr/share/libpam-script/pam_script_acct
Jun 10 23:23:22 COMPUTERXY sshd[9459]: Accepted password for domainuser
from 172.16.0.1 port 43841 ssh2

I will have a look at it with changed username mapping.

The defaulting issue (:n) seems to be fixed in the latest upstream
release, but the incremental processing (:+) is still broken in upstream's
master. I've reported this as

https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=122068

Unfortunately we won't be able to fix either of these issues before
stretch releases because we're past the last upload date, even if
fixes were available.

Given the last few releases of Getopt::Long have contained various
regressions and regression fixes I'd also be a bit wary of trying to
fix this in a stable point release, and indeed of diving in to try
and fix the issue.

This is all a bit unfortunate but I'm not sure there is a solution
at this point.

Help welcome, of course...

Dominic.

This locale is there for historical reason. It has been added more than
20 years ago has a hack to provide "day, month, year" ordering, used in
most European countries except UK. DK has been chosen at that time. A
country from the Eurozone would probably have been better, but that was
not something really predictible at that time.

Bug#864573: unblock: sqlite3/3.16.2-5

2017-06-10 Thread GCS
Package: release.debian.org
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org

Hi Release Team,

There's a database corruption bug in sqlite3 which affects 3.16.0+
releases (the one in Stretch) if auto vacuum is enabled. The fix is
very small:
-if( info.nSize==szNew && info.nLocal==info.nPayload ){
+if( info.nSize==szNew && info.nLocal==info.nPayload
+ && (!ISAUTOVACUUM || szNewminLocal)

But full debdiff is attached. Please unblock 3.16.2-5 and let it
migrate to Stretch.

The patch seems to contain some left-over comments. Afaics it also
misses the changes to the maintainer scripts which make sure the
/etc/rc{0,6} symlinks are created on upgrades.

With my understanding of the freeze policy, for a package that is in
testing, one should upload to unstable only version fixing RC bugs.
Although the release is near, I'm sticking to the rules.

Well the package is not dead, it's still in Debian and you can fetch the
sources from there.

Upstream is dead, that said there are multiple copies of the source code
on github. One of them [1] has even started to take patches, so it's not
impossible that a new release appear at some point in the future.

Bug#864572: openarena-server: consider to use StandardOutput=null in systemd service files

2017-06-10 Thread Markus Koschany
Package: openarena-server
Version: 0.8.8-17
Severity: normal

Currently all in-game messages including chat conversations are
logged in systemd's journal and forwarded to the rsyslog daemon which
in turn writes everything to /var/log/syslog. This is quite noisy and
quickly fills /var/log/syslog with several megabyte of data per day.
If one uses tools like logcheck which investigates /var/log/syslog by
default and sends hourly emails about suspicious log activity, this
can be quite annoying due to the missing ignore rules.

Of course the workaround is to write these ignore rules or to
overwrite the default service files with a custom one which is placed
in /etc/systemd/system.

Normally the latter is a good advice but I think in this special case
we could use the StandardOutput=null option and stop logging to
/var/log/syslog at all. The OpenArena server already logs the same
information to /var/games/openarena-server/server.oa/baseoa/games.log
thus the information wouldn't be lost.

Please consider to use StandardOutput=null in both service files.

Markus

Bug#836388: upgrading gitlab-ci-multi-runner to 9.2 in Experimental?

2017-06-10 Thread Raphaël
I found a couple of issues with cache and artifacts in current
experimental (9.1.1).
Digging further they happen to be upstream bugs.

A couple of cache/artifacts-related bugs have bee, fixed in 9.2
https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ci-multi-runner/commit/adfc38756f38a2114a402a799c46da85a542419b
(I can't get them working with the Debian's version)

That would open the path to do ci testing before uploading to gitlab
(not only job per job but test possible jobs' dependencies issues)

Upgrading Debian's package would be highly appreciated

No way. Anything that would trigger debsums is forbidden :-)

Luckily we don't have alternatives for that case :-)
So it will probably be diversions + shipping the alternate json in
non-glvnd libgl1-nvidia-glx.

Apologies, Gregor, for my misunderstanding. I had thought that
libgetopt-long-descriptive-perl provided both. I have now removed
libgetopt-long-descriptive-perl from my system and the problem remains
so, of course, you are right.

By the way, I have confirmed that the problem does NOT occur on my

parsing works according to the documentation.

libfann fails to cross build from source, because it runs the test suite
despite DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS containing nocheck and fails doing that. After
honouring DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck, it cross builds successfully.
Please consider applying the attached patch after stretch is released.

android-platform-external-libselinux fails to cross build from source,
because it uses the build architecture compiler. Just indirecting make

dh_auto_build knows how to pass cross compilers. Please consider

The deadline has passed, we're too late.

Quoting Niels from the RT:
 * Assume that the Release Team want your package to have at least 2
days in unstable before they are migrated (via a "age-days 2" hint)
 * Uploads processed /after/ the 13:52 UTC dinstall Wednesday,
2017-06-07 will *not* be able to reach 2 days in testing before the
   deadline.

You could try to get it in the first point release.

Quoting Niels from the RT:
Q: What if my upload misses the deadline?
A: The upload will not be included in the initial stretch release.
- If the package has an unfixed RC bug tagged
"stretch-will-remove", the package will be removed from stretch
  prior to the release.
- Otherwise, the package will be included in the release. Please
consider whether the bug should be fixed in a stable update (e.g.
  9.1)

Bug#864562: Installation on Olimex A20-Olinuxino Micro

2017-06-10 Thread Jean-Louis MOUNIER

Package: debian-installer

Hello,

I'm the new owner of my second Olimex A20-Olinuxino Micro (Rev J) board.

I tested the board with a pre-installed Micro-SD card
(A20-OLinuXino-MICRO Debian Jessie with kernel 3.4.103+ release 14) and
it runs fine.

My challenge is to install Debian on this board and, better if possible,
to run it from the attached hard disk (without Micro SD card).

I choosed to run the installer from a micro-sd card image, made with
zcat (with Jessie and Stretch releases, same result).

The installer boots fine even if I saw that it is not as complete as a
X86/X64 Debian installer. Not a problem.

I use a serial port to manage the installation.

As it is a network installation, first I plugged the system on my
domestic network then directly on my ISP Box.

After investigation with my son (who is also qualified on the subject),
I think that the problem is about the network interface of the board.
Maybe a faulty initialisation or bad handshake with the network port.
both NI led blink and the switch port too.

Here are the facts : the installer can neither configure itself from
DHCP neither communicate with Internet when the network configuration is
manualy entered. I did explore the logs from my DHCP server and I didn't
find any log about the DHCP request from the installer (I saw some when
testing with the pre-installed card).

Did you meet this issue before ?

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Jean-Louis

Bug#864561: ruby-mail: vulnerable to SMTP Injection via recipient email addresses

2017-06-10 Thread Georg Faerber
Package: ruby-mail
Severity: important
Tags: upstream fixed-upstream security

Rubysec advisory [1]: "Because the Mail Gem for Ruby does not validate or
impose a length limit on email address fields, an attacker can modify
messages sent with the gem via a specially-crafted recipient email
address.

Applications that validate email address format are not affected by this
vulnerability.

The recipient attack is described in Terada, Takeshi. "SMTP Injection
via Recipient Email Addresses." 2015. The attacks described in the paper
(Terada, p. 4) can be applied to the library without any modification."

Upstream fix targeting 2.5 [2]; upstream fix targeting 2.6 [3].

Bug#864560: gnutls28: CVE-2017-7507

2017-06-10 Thread Salvatore Bonaccorso
Source: gnutls28
Version: 3.5.8-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch security upstream fixed-upstream
Control: fixed -1 3.5.13-1

Hi,

the following vulnerability was published for gnutls28.

CVE-2017-7507[0]:
Crash upon receiving well-formed status_request extension

If you fix the vulnerability please also make sure to include the
CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id in your changelog entry.

For further information see:

[0] https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2017-7507
https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2017-7507
[1] https://gnutls.org/security.html#GNUTLS-SA-2017-4

Please adjust the affected versions in the BTS as needed, just checked
3.5.8 in unstable sourcewise. Not sure as well if it would need a DSA
if older versions are affected as well.

Regards,
Salvatore

Is there any progress on the bug fixing front?

Please let me know, thanks a lot for your time!

Saving simple links should not be a complicated heavy thing. Shaarli
is simple, but it does the job and does it well. And your data is not
hosted on a foreign server, but on your server.

I would like to add this package for FreedomBox. I plan to maintain it

I do try to give it a shot before uploading, but I only have Dota 2 on
Steam. I have tested that one before uploading 375.66 and it was fine.

I just did, and the file doesn't seem to be any different:

# grep library /etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json
"library_path": "libGLX_nvidia.so.0",
"library_path": "libGLX_nvidia.so.0",

I used the non glvnd flags for the installer:

# find / -name libOpenGL.so.0
# find / -name libGLdispatch.so.0
# find / -name libGLX.so.0
# find / -name libOpenGL.so.0
# find / -name libGL.so.1

Alex, does this solution come from Nvidia's support? If you have tested
that it works, we could modify it ourselves.

Andreas, given we ship it in /usr/share, perhaps the easiest thing
would be to modify in the maintainer scripts (via config-package-dev
maybe) in the non-GLVND GLX package. What do you think?

Kind regards,
Luca Boccassi

Bug#864555: lintian: please use a more reliable heuristic than line length to detect source-is-missing

2017-06-10 Thread David Bremner
Package: lintian
Version: 2.5.50.4
Severity: normal

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

On polymake 3.1 source lintian reports:

E: polymake source: source-is-missing external/js/renderers/SVGRenderer.js line
length is 258 characters (>256)

An examination reveals this to be a false positive. The file is not minified,
but happens to contain long lines like

_svgNode.setAttribute( 'style', 'fill: none; stroke: ' +
material.color.getStyle() + '; stroke-width: ' + material.linewidth + ';
stroke-opacity: ' + material.opacity + '; stroke-linecap: ' + material.linecap
+ '; stroke-linejoin: ' + material.linejoin );

One can argue about whether that's nice programming style, but that's not
really lintian's job.
Presumably that's the way the upstream author likes to edit code.

Bug#864553: g3data FTCBFS: uses the build architecture compiler and pkg-config

2017-06-10 Thread Helmut Grohne
Source: g3data
Version: 1:1.5.3-2.1
Tags: patch
User: helm...@debian.org

g3data fails to cross build from source, because it uses the build
architecture compiler and pkg-config. For the compiler, indirecting
$(MAKE) through dh_auto_build fixes the issue as dh_auto_build does the
right thing(TM). For pkg-config, adding the host architecture gnu
triplet as prefix fixes the issue. After applying the attached patch,
g3data cross builds successfully. Please consider applying it after
stretch is released.

Hey,

it works just fine if you run a shell or mutt, for example. What exactly are
you trying to do?

Bug#864552: nomarch FTCBFS: uses the build architecture compiler

2017-06-10 Thread Helmut Grohne
Source: nomarch
Version: 1.4-3
Tags: patch
User: helm...@debian.org
Usertags: rebootstrap

nomarch fails to cross build from source, because it uses the build
architecture compiler. dh_auto_build knows how to pass cross compilers
to make. Simply replacing $(MAKE) with dh_auto_build fixes the cross
build. Please consider applying the attached patch after stretch is
released.

Bug#864551: gcc-6: linker symbol incorrectly decoded in C code

2017-06-10 Thread Gregory Mounie
Package: gcc-6
Version: 6.3.0-18
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

When using the linker symbols, the values of the adresses of the symbols
are incorrectly decoded.

The problem occurs with the linker scripts but also with the following
small code and minimalist compiler options:

The test code:

#include

extern unsigned char liloo;
extern unsigned char lilootab[];

static void * spa = & liloo;
static void * sta = lilootab;

int main() {
void * pa = & liloo;
void * ta = lilootab;
printf("%p %p %p %p\n", spa, sta, pa, ta);
return 0;
}

The compilation with gcc-6:
gcc-6 -g -c testld.c
gcc-6 -fuse-ld=bfd -Wl,--defsym=liloo=0x100 -Wl,--defsym=lilootab=0x200
testld.o -o testld-6

The incorrect execution:
./testld-6
0x55bf6cc0c000 0x55bf6dc0c000 0x55bf6cc0c000 0x55bf6dc0c000

The symbol table is still correct according to objdump:

$ objdump -t testld-6 | grep liloo
0200 g *ABS* lilootab
0100 g *ABS* liloo

The compilation with gcc-5
gcc-5 -g -c testld.c
gcc-5 -fuse-ld=bfd -Wl,--defsym=liloo=0x100 -Wl,--defsym=lilootab=0x200
testld.o -o testld-5

The correct execution:
./testld-5
0x100 0x200 0x100 0x200

Using linker:
no change using gold instead of bfd

Using other compilers:

The bug occurs with gcc-6 (6.3.0-18) and gcc-7 (7.1.0-6) in experimental

Correct execution occurs with with gold and bfd:
gcc-4.8,4.9,5.0 and clang 3.6,3.7,3.8,3.9,4.0,5.0

FAT* are simply not POSIX compatible filesystems and as such are not
supported as /boot (or /, /var, or /usr etc for that matter),
irrespective of how it might appear to you to be working under some
circumstances.

If your device's firmware requires a FAT partition to boot from then
you should configure flash-kernel in the mode where it mounts that
partition temporarily to copy the boot files to it while /boot remains
a POSIX filesystem (ext4 etc).

Since cqrlog is out of stretch now, uploading to sid is no longer
problematic.

cqrlog users in jessie *are* affected by this bug upon upgrade to
stretch. So you will need a jessie-pu upload to make the postrm not fail
if the apparmor initscript does not exist.
During this test apparmor does not seem to eb installed at all. I'm
curious why this didn't fail in a plain jessie test.

Hi,

if we wait much longer then the machines have died out which need the fix.

How about offering the corrected 432 bytes for download and have
an item in CD FAQ which points to the binary and explains how to
put it onto the first 432 bytes of the USB stick or .iso image ?

Have a nice day :)

However the pending upload is stalled by the release freeze due to
upstream changes which are too invasive.

Please downgrade this bug or otherwise flag it as pending so that cqrlog

2017-06-10 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal

Please unblock package gamine

I just found another upgrade issue: a file overwrite conflict detected
during a piuparts test of junior-art, distupgrading from jessie to stretch
with --install-recommends enabled. (#864547)
I don't know why this hasn't shown up earlier, probably some recent
changes to the relevant Recommends chain changed installation sets or
unpack order.

The patch will be trivial, just adding
  Breaks+Replaces: gamine (<< ???)
to gamine-data (I just need to look up the correct version).

Is this something you would still consider for stretch r0? In that case
I'd do a 0-day NMU to sid and post the final debdiff here.

I haven't looked into the actual problem but this assumption is not
correct. Debian ships Getopt::Long as part of perl (for stretch in
perl-modules-5.24) and Getopt::Long::Descriptive in a separate
package libgetopt-long-descriptive-perl. [0]

As you are using Getopt::Long here (and not ::Descriptive), I'm
reassigning the bug to the perl package.

Bug#864497: nvidia-driver should depend on libgl1-nvidia-glvnd-glx instead of libgl1-nvidia-glx by default

The fact is that according to GoL the non-glvnd flavour looks buggy on
Debian at least w/ DoW3 and Unity games like Cities Skyline, crash for the
first, buggy on 50% of the starts for the latter (and many other Unity
games are affected) - the bug is in term of window size

Such a thing should be documented in the release notes.

Bug#864549: cqrlog: fails to remove: invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/apparmor not found.

2017-06-10 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: cqrlog
Version: 1.8.2-1.1
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to remove.

This was observed on a jessie->stretch upgrade, which causes cqrlog
to be removed (to back out the /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld changes
before mariadb gets upgraded).

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Removing cqrlog (1.8.2-1.1) ...

  Changes removed from /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld

invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/apparmor not found.
dpkg: error processing package cqrlog (--remove):
subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 100
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   cqrlog
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Please get this fixed in jessie.

cheers,

Andreas
