Bug#996859: kded5: crash during init

2021-10-26 Thread Achim Schaefer

Hi,

worked, I upgraded to unstable and now I'm able to log in again.

Thanks

On 25.10.21 14:47, Patrick Franz wrote:

Hi,

Which version of libkdecorations2-5v5 do you have installed? 5.21.5 or
5.23.0 ?

If it's 5.21.5, a possible workaround is decsribed at
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=996726

Sorry, I meant to say that if you are running libkdecorations2-5v5 in
version 5.23.0, an option is to downgrade to 5.21.5 as described in the
other bug report.

Bug#970601: aqbanking: no PhotoTan for comdirect any more

2020-09-19 Thread Achim Schaefer
Package: aqbanking-tools
Version: 6.2.2-1
Severity: important
File: aqbanking

Dear Maintainer,

don't know exactly since when, but for comdirect there is no PhotoTan
possibility any more:

16:52:08
HBCI-Aufträge werden ausgeführt
16:52:08
AqHBCI gestartet
16:52:08
Selecting iTAN mode "photoTAN-Verfahren" (902, version 6, process 2)
16:52:08
Encoding queue
16:56:40
Unable to encode
16:56:40
Selecting iTAN mode "photoTAN-Verfahren" (902, version 6, process 2)
16:56:40
Encoding queue

It gets the request, but does not show the Code, and requests the pin.

Most probaly this is since the switch to the push possibility.

Thanks

Thanks.

BTW this fixed as well a GPU detection problem in BOINC.
Now my Haswell GPU can be used again.

Hi,
I just noticed:
now boinc does not find the GPU anymore.
This was after a restart, I don't know when I started boinc the last time.

I noticed as well I see something strange in clinfo:
clinfo

.. (until now everything as expected)

NULL platform behavior

  ICD loader Profile  OpenCL 2.2
NOTE:   your OpenCL library declares to support OpenCL 2.2,
but it seems to support up to OpenCL 2.1 only.
(I would expect 1.x only, haswell does not support 2.0 as far as I
remember, right?

Bug#844270: firewalld: fails to load samba service with 4.8.0-1

2016-11-13 Thread Achim Schaefer
Package: firewalld
Version: 0.4.4.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

when trying to load the samba server with kernel 4.8.0-1 the folowing messages
appear:
firewalld[1004]: WARNING: INVALID_HELPER: 'nf_conntrack_netbios_ns' not
available in kernel

even after manually loading the module with modprobe nf_conntrack_netbios_ns,
the same message appears.

Removing the module line in samba.xml avoids the error, and samba works again.

Sorry there can be a module for every installed kernel.
E.g.:
Konsole output

Hi,

not sure.
E.g. I found this file using cruft :
Konsole output
ls -l /lib/modules/3.12-1-amd64/updates/dkms/vboxpci.ko
- -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32168 Jan 6 2014
/lib/modules/3.12-1-amd64/updates/dkms/vboxpci.ko

But obviously this kernel is not installed any more, and dkms does not
know anything about this file as well.
I would have been excluded/not shown using your patterns.

Bug#800106: cruft-ng: should follow symlinks for excluded files

2015-09-26 Thread Achim Schaefer

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Thanks,

for sure this is one way, and I definitivly need to set this up. Not
done until now, to be able to report "bugs"

I thought using symlinks to replace hardcoded paths might be more common.
This way other people might not think about files someone esle (you)
already excluded for them, even so it is non common.

Fine with me to close this bug.

I assume you do this in the same way, all files with a pattern *.load

2015-09-26 Thread Achim Schaefer

Dear Maintainer,

in the filter-unex you can find these lines for apt:
/var/cache/apt/archives
/var/cache/apt/archives/*

Now on my system this is a symlink:
ls -ld /var/cache/apt
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Aug 24 06:59 /var/cache/apt -> /mnt/apt/cache/

But the files get still reported:
/mnt/apt/cache/archives
/mnt/apt/cache/archives/accountsservice_0.6.40-3_amd64.deb

Thnks

Bug#773762: apt-listdifferences: diff goes outside package tree

Package: apt-listdifferences
Version: 1.20141011
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

when running apt-listdifferences, it happens sometimes, diff is comparing data
outside the tmp source dir.
E.g. this now happens with docker.io:
diff: /tmp/BsDox6gACB/docker.io-1.3.2~dfsg1/pkg/symlink/testdata/fs/a/d: Datei

diff:
/tmp/BsDox6gACB/docker.io-1.3.2~dfsg1/pkg/symlink/testdata/fs/a/e/h/.kde/socket-data:

This is basically in my home dir.
Here one of the examples, what we see in the original source:
root@data:/tmp/BsDox6gACB/docker.io-1.3.2~dfsg1/pkg/symlink/testdata/fs# ls -l

Bug#769475: boinc-client: fails to detect opencl

2014-11-17 Thread Achim Schaefer
Hi,

yes I assume the reason is I don't have a libOpenCL.so.

I got package ocl-icd-libopencl1 installed, which provides only
libOpenCL.so.1 (and 1.0.0).

Anyway I'd like to go for the boinc.git.

I've never build a package from git. (only from the sources : apt-get
source -b ...)
Do you have a short howto, or similar?

Thanks

Achim

Bug#769475: boinc-client: fails to detect opencl

2014-11-13 Thread Achim Schaefer
Package: boinc-client
Version: 7.4.23+dfsg-1exp3

Dear Maintainer,

current version fails to detect Intel GPU as an OpenCL device.

I have several OpenCL icd files installed:
dpkg -S OpenCL/vendors
pocl-opencl-icd: /etc/OpenCL/vendors/pocl.icd
pocl-opencl-icd, beignet: /etc/OpenCL/vendors
beignet: /etc/OpenCL/vendors/intel.icd
beignet: /etc/OpenCL/vendors/intel-beignet.icd

and clinfo detects 3 platforms:
clinfo -h
pocl warning: encountered incomplete implementation in clGetDeviceInfo.c:225
pocl warning: encountered incomplete implementation in clGetDeviceInfo.c:271
Number of platforms: 3
with one being:
Platform Name: Intel Gen OCL Driver
Number of devices: 1
  Device Type: CL_DEVICE_TYPE_GPU

But boinc reports:
13-Nov-2014 22:44:07 [---] No usable GPUs found

Thanks for the help

Bug#763113: boinc-manager: massive debug output in ~/.BOINC/stderrgui.txt

2014-09-27 Thread Achim Schaefer
Package: boinc-manager
Version: 7.4.22+dfsg-1exp1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

when running the boinc-manager I get a hugh amount of debug output in the file
mentioned.
This looks like this:
00:23:37: Trace: (Function Start/End) CAdvancedFrame::OnRefreshView - Function
Begin
00:23:37: Trace: (Function Start/End) CAdvancedFrame::OnRefreshView - Function
End

00:23:38: Trace: (Function Start/End) CTaskBarIcon::UpdateTaskbarStatus -
Function Begin
00:23:38: Trace: (Function Start/End) CTaskBarIcon::UpdateTaskbarStatus -
Function End
00:23:38: Trace: (Function Start/End) CTaskBarIcon::UpdateNoticeStatus -

00:23:38: Trace: (Function Start/End) CTaskBarIcon::UpdateNoticeStatus -
Function End
00:23:38: Trace: (Function Start/End) CTaskBarIcon::OnRefresh - Function End

This way the disk is always writing data, and can not go to a sleep mode.
I'm running mostly projects which do not write checkpoint data.

Thanks

Bug#632401: [initramfs-tools] software raid1 does not boot

2013-03-16 Thread Achim Schaefer
Package: mdadm
Version: 3.2.5-5
Followup-For: Bug #632401

Dear Maintainer,
just got the "same" problem.
while running the boot in verbose, I can see the try to assemble my array
happens some time between these mesages:
[0.787563] ata1: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m1024@0xfe02f000 port 0xfe02f100
irq 42
[0.787569] ata2: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m1024@0xfe02f000 port 0xfe02f180
irq 42
[0.787576] ata3: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m1024@0xfe02f000 port 0xfe02f200
irq 42
[0.787582] ata4: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m1024@0xfe02f000 port 0xfe02f280
irq 42

mdadm --assemble...

[1.105288] ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
[1.105314] ata2: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
[1.105339] ata4: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
[1.129291] ata6: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
obviously at that time there is not even a partition avalible, so no array can
be found, or assebled.

I did not try the rootdelay workaround until now.
