There are still working Iomega ZIP drives that may need to be used to retrieve

Bug#988258: /usr/bin/scp: Use power of two units in scp progress speed

Severity: important
File: /usr/bin/scp

X-Debbugs-Cc: w...@cuadernoinformatica.com

Dear Maintainer,

As it seemed to me to see in the source code the speed is calculated in power
of two units but it is shown with the symbols of of power of 10 units. This is
confusing. The correct thing to do would be to use the appropriate symbols:
KiB, MiB, GiB, etc.

Bug#986834: mgetty: Add to speeds lists 500000 to 4000000 bauds

2021-04-12 Thread Alejandro Sánchez
Package: mgetty
Version: 1.2.1-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
X-Debbugs-Cc: w...@cuadernoinformatica.com

Dear Maintainer,

The maximum allowed speed of mgetty is 460800 bauds. There are some serial
adapters that can reach higher speeds like 3 Mbauds. Other serial communication
programs such as agetty or minicom allow up to 4 Mbauds. It would only be
necessary to add the speeds between 460800 bauds and 400 bauds to the tio.c
and gettydefs.c files.

Please give a more descriptive title! Of course you're reporting a bug
about rsync...

This info typically goes into the pseudo-header Version: that belongs
below the Package: line. Please read
http://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting for all the information about
reporting a bug.

Debian etch upgrade and update to actual date.

error (code 1) at main.c(1303) [client=2.6.9]

That's only when you don't give it a correct syntax in its options to
actually do something useful. How about:

$ rsync -n . /tmp
skipping directory .
$ echo $?
0

And when use rsnapshot this other : [08/Feb/2007:18:06:24]

You will have to find out how rsync is being called by rsnapshot, and if
you can find the error message given by rsync. I wonder whether perhaps
the rsnapshot maintainer may be able to help you better.

I use rsync daily on 150 systems to backup 2TB of data, so I think that
rsync is basically OK.
