Bug#749648: openjdk-7-source: src.zip location depends on build architecture

2014-05-28 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Package: openjdk-7-source
Version: 7u55-2.4.7-1~deb7u1
Severity: normal

This is really duplicate of archived #649618
Current location of src.zip in stable is
/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386/src.zip
For version packaged in sid location is /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-
amd64/src.zip
I think actual location depends on architecture of build machine it would be
useful to place src.zip to /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-common with symbolic
links like in openjdk-6

Bug#704082: coreutils: wrong exit statuses and messages with --ignore-fail-on-non-empty

2013-03-27 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Package: coreutils
Version: 8.20-3
Severity: minor

When trying to delete not-empty directory that cannot be deleted by rights on
parent dir with option --ignore-fail-on-non-empty user got simply 'failed to
remove' message, without exact reason. When trying to delete empty directory
that cannot be deleted by rights - it says nothing and exit status is zero.
Example:
$ mkdir d1
$ mkdir d1/d2
$ chmod a-w d1
$ rmdir d1/d2/
rmdir: failed to remove 'd1/d2/': Permission denied
$ rmdir --ignore-fail-on-non-empty d1/d2/
$ echo $?
0
$ touch d1/d2/f1
$ rmdir --ignore-fail-on-non-empty d1/d2/
rmdir: failed to remove 'd1/d2/'
$ rmdir d1/d2/
rmdir: failed to remove 'd1/d2/': Permission denied

I think rmdir should say 'Permission denied' with exit status 1 in first case
and say 'Permission denied' or do not report error in second case

Also, some other things:

mplayer from ubuntu i386 crashes on another machine for that file.

Yes. It's really used, But if file buggy, why it isn't crashed when
playing from local file, not from http?
Without -lavdopts fast crash missing, thanks.

Bug#703646: mplayer: crashes when play mpg file from http

2013-03-21 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Package: mplayer
Version: 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1+svn34540-1+b2
Severity: normal

When I trying to play mpg files from http (static file from lighttpd or from
upnp server) mplayer crashed.
Files were encoded with avconv and avplay successfully decodes such files.
Same file played from nfs/local file without crash.
Attached output of gdb. If you need file example I can provide it (or you can
download file on url from gdb output).
Thanks.

Hi. What package is relevant?
dbus have
contexts/dbus_contexts
in /etc/dbus-1/system.conf file. Selinux is enabled according to sysfs,
but there is no file contexts/dbus_contexts, I thinks it's not selinux
bug.
May be add something like ignore_missing="yes" to that directive?

Thanks.

Bug#700242: dbus not started when not selinux policy installed and selinux enabled

2013-02-10 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Package: dbus
Version: 1.6.8-1
Severity: normal

When I tried to start dbus in container when host system has selinux
enabled it fails with following error:
Failed to start message bus: Failed to open
"/etc/selinux/default/contexts/dbus_contexts": No such file or directory
Installing selinux-policy-default allows to start dbus, but I don't
think it right solution of that problem

Bug#697354: gnome-shell: freezes randomly on alt-tab

2013-01-05 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Today I tried to investigate problem again and found that when dconf
key
org.gnome.desktop.sound.event-sounds enabled desktop freezes, and when
disabled - not, so possible workaround - not to remove
libcaberra-pulseaudio, but disable that key.

My previous message about enabled/disabled sounds was about
gnome-control-center "sound effects" options.

Hi, event sounds disabled already, enabling it not helps too :)
It seems that after removing libcanberra-pulse freezes disappeared, so
you are free to reassign bug or something else.

Bug#697354: gnome-shell: freezes randomly on alt-tab

2013-01-04 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.4.2-5
Severity: normal

after last upgrades (with gc fixes) shell can randomly stop working on alt-tab
sometimes app-launcher (input window that shown on alt+F2) can say that not
enough memory to fork, but system has more than half of memory free.
kill -9 from linux console helps - shell restarts and some time works fine.

Hello. As I can see bug still not assigned to kernel and not cgroup-bin

In last version of qt libraries file changelog.Debian.gz in every package

packages.

Bug#677712: sysvinit-utils: startpar not allow to start cryptdisks

2012-07-22 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
I tried to debug something and found, that cryptdisks are not cause of
problem, cause is upstart. After installing sysvinit instead of upstart
all works fine.
I don't remember why I decided that problem in cryptdisks, may be there
is no relation at all.
So you are free to close this bug.

Thanks.

Today I tried setup without prompting password from keyboard, and it
also fails to start with startpar. With legacy bootordering all works
fine.

I want to say, that anacron now not works with upstart in cause of
#671284
For example see /etc/cron.d/anacron - it uses invoke-rc.d, so can't do
anything when installed upstart.

Bug#573052: second instance of running mplayer breaks audio

2010-05-24 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi.
Yes it seems that bug still exists, cause version of libopenal1
installed on my system is 1:1.11.753-1 and I have to use mplayer
compiled without openal support.
But I not use pulseaudio as backend, as in bug #548373 or may be I don't
know that I use it.
What addition information can I provide to help?

Bug#573052: second instance of running mplayer breaks audio

2010-03-08 Thread Alexander V. Kudrevatykh
Subject: second instance of running mplayer breaks audio
Package: mplayer
Version: 1.0~rc3+svn20090405-1+b1
Severity: important

When I run second process of mplayer from one user fist instance loss
audio (second also don't output audio) it presents in all -ao options
(also null) and when -dumpaudio or -dumpstream is used.
I found that this bug also exists in current "2010-02-10" svn version of
mplayer and disappears when mplayer compiles without openal support, so
may be bug in libopenal1 or libopenal-dev.
