Bug#326259: PNG pixbuf loader broken on PowerPC
Package: libgtk2.0-0 Version: 2.6.10 Severity: important Upgrading from 2.6.8 to either 2.6.10 or 2.8.x breaks PNG loader. (gcalctool:12295): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Bug! gdk-pixbuf loader 'png' didn't set an error on failure. libpng error: Call to NULL read function XPM loader works fine, I'm not sure about others. Simply replacing /usr/lib/gtk2-0/2.4.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so with one coming from 2.6.8 .deb solved the problem. 2.6.9 worked fine as far as I can remember. I can't reproduce that on i386 system, though. On monday I'll check if it is broken on other PPC systems as well. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#298810: Fixed in Deerpark
1) There's only one place in new preferences dialog - language selection with more than 5 languages selected (very unlikely) - where scrolling is needed. 2) It's been fixed in Deerpark 2 (I don't know about deerpark 1) Oh, and BTW, scrolling in FF 1.0 preferences worked if i.e. radio button was selected. Strange. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#311084: buggy drivers?
I think that it may be happening due to buggy X11 driver or some strange GTK+ theme. Try changing them and check if the problem persists. Bug#307003: Eric bashed my head
Eric bashed my head for claiming this bug is done when it's still a problem. I think we could: 1: Call it a feature. This would be quite redmondish, I think:) 2: Make postinst spit out a warning message (something like You need to restart Firefox after an upgrade) if it detects there are FF instances running. Some users will notice it, but most won't. 3: Or maybe should upgrade fail if Firefox is running. This could be quite irritiating, but would surely solve this bug. -- Andrzej o Mendel MC - Warszawa JabberID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] gg: 1456970 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Niech yje Pingwin! -BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK- Version: 3.1 GP/L/IT d-- s++:-- a--- c++ UL+++ P(---) L+++ E--- W++@ N(-) 0? Bug#228971: It's buggy Javascript
It's not a problem of firefox I think. Opera takes insane amounts of CPU power on this page too. It's just a case of horrible scripts and maybe not optimized Javascript interpreting. On slower machines it can make Firefox virtualy irresponsible, on my P4 1.6GHz it makes it veeeryyy slow, but it is possible to close the page and save the day. Methinks we can close this bug. Mozilla Firefox displays a dialog with an option to disable CPU intensive scripts if it detects one. -- Andrzej o Mendel MC - Warszawa JabberID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] gg: 1456970 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Niech yje Pingwin! -BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK- Version: 3.1 GP/L/IT d-- s++:-- a--- c++ UL+++ P(---) L+++ E--- W++@ N(-) 0?
