Bug#463741: Patch for gcc 4.3
A patch for gcc 4.3 now exists in the upstream. Either sync to http://www.mushware.com/files/adanaxisgpl-1.2.5.tar.gz or apply the patch http://www.mushware.com/files/adanaxisgpl-gcc-4.3.patch Cheers, Andy S. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#463674: adanaxisgpl: Crashes on startup
Hi, I'm Andy, the upstream author. Sven, it looks like all of your available display modes are 16-bit colour, which Adanaxis doesn't support. It's weird, because FX5200 is definitely capable of 24 and 32 bit. You might get somewhere by hacking SDLAppHandler::EnterScreen in src/GL/SDLAppHandler.cpp to ask for 16-bit modes, but no guarantees there. Bug#444144: RFP: adanaxisgpl - FPS game in 4 spatial dimensions
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name : adanaxisgpl Version : 1.2.0 Upstream Author : Andy Southgate [EMAIL PROTECTED] * URL : http://www.mushware.com/files/adanaxisgpl-1.2.0.tar.gz * License : GPL Description : Adanaxis is probably the first real time shooter in four spatial dimensions (so that's four not including time). Information and reviews can be found at: http://www.mushware.com/ (Developer site) http://www.linuxgamingworld.com/2007/07/adanaxis http://happypenguin.org/show?Adanaxis This is the GPL version of the full commercial game. It's stripped of material that can't be GPL'd, but it's not a demo - it does contain all of the levels and has no artificial limitations. Much of the packaging work is already done. You can unpack the tarball and type ./configure ; make debian-release (or use dpkg-buildpackage directly) and, with a bit of luck, get a .deb at the end. The code is 64-bit and big/littleendian clean. The binary .debs built for the commercial release are already available at mushware.com/x11 if you'd like to take a look. I am the upstream developer and available to support the packager, modify the upstream, etc. You will need sound and hardware-accelerated 3D to meaningfully test the build, and it does take about 15 minutes to compile on a modern single core. Language is C++ and ruby. Andy Southgate [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#312820: RFP:tesseracttrainer-0.1.4 - view a 4d hypercube
Package: tesseracttrainer Version: 0.1.4 Hi, I've written a package called Tesseract Trainer. It appears to work and is getting a reasonable response here: http://www.happypenguin.org/show?Tesseract%20Trainer If somebody would like to package this for Debian Id be most grateful. A selection of source packages can be found at http://mushware.com/dload.php?action="">. PAD files can be found in amongst http://mushware.com/files. Description: Tesseract Trainer generates a full screen real time display of a rotating tesseract - the equivalent of the cube in 4 dimensions. This app also adds point textures, which give you a feel of what each of the eight faces are doing. There's a stereoscopic option which adds 3D depth to the projection from 4D, music and numerous options to play with. I'm very keen to get feedback as to whether anyone can 'see' the 4D effect here. The application contains a number of unique features. Point textures convey the orientation of each of the faces as the hypercube rotates. The two invariant planes of the rotation are shown. Any number of faces can be drawn, so each can be followed in turn. The facets of each face can be textured, and faces on each axis are shown in different colours to distinguish them. A manual is provided in PDF format, together with key control help whilst the application is running. Display resolution can be selected to match the display. Finally, some experimental seven-time music creates a bit of atmosphere. Copyright: GPL-able, mostly public domain Yours, Andy Southgate [EMAIL PROTECTED]
