Bug#1025478: wesnoth-1.16-core 1.16.4 has random crashes, fixed in upstream 1.16.6

2022-12-05 Thread Benedikt Hallinger

Package: wesnoth-1.16-core
Version: 1:1.16.4-1+b2

Hello,
wesnoth-core 1.16.4 has random crashes in multiplayer. That bug was
adresses a few days after 1.16.4 came out.
I kindly want to ask, if you could update wesnoth to the latest 1.16.6
so we can enjoy stable multiplayer games again :)

Sincerely, Beni

Bug#970520: confirm workaround

Confirming $ wesnoth --nocache works here too.

But what is causing this? Is this an upstream bug? Or one debian
introduces?

Bug#946855: Therion still fails on old proj dependency; loch fixed in upstream

2019-12-16 Thread Benedikt Hallinger
Thank you Olly for that insights.
In this case applying the patch would be good because currently the package
therion is broken if one uses the „cs“ command.

Package: therion
Version: 5.4.4ds1-4

Hello, i just wanted to inform you that therion still fails with the proj
issue[1] on my system when installing from the new package 5.4.4ds1-4.

Also the loch glx issue[2] was fixed recently in upstream (Olly did a patch on
this in the last deb package which is obsoleted by Stachos upstream fix.

It would be nice to recompile the package including the latest upstream
sources, thank you!

Bug#635827: Fwd: php-net-ldap2 is outdated

2011-07-28 Thread Benedikt Hallinger
Package: php-net-ldap2
Version: 2.0.9-1

I have seen that the packaged php-net-ldap2 is old and wanted to
inform you, that there are several new releases, some of them fixing
important bugs.
It would be nice if the php-net-ldap2 package gets updated to the latest
version available from PEAR [1].

Also debian bug #599540 has been fixed at PEAR, so the packages description
should be updated too.

Greetings,
B. Hallinger
