Bug#367316: nvidia-glx: Does not accelerate

2006-06-02 Thread Benjamin Kudria
Thanks for the reply, Matthias, but I don't think this is the issue:

# ls /usr/lib | grep GL
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   21 2006-05-28 13:43 libGLcore.so.1 ->
libGLcore.so.1.0.8762
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8.2M 2006-05-23 23:39 libGLcore.so.1.0.8762
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   10 2006-06-02 19:25 libGL.so -> libGL.so.1
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   17 2006-05-28 13:43 libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.0.8762
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 544k 2006-05-23 23:39 libGL.so.1.0.8762

libgl1-mesa-glx is version 6.4.2-1

Thanks anyway! Any other input is appreciated, of course.

Bug#367316: nvidia-glx: Works for me, though different OpenGL version string

2006-05-23 Thread Benjamin Kudria
Hi, Ted. Thanks for the reply.

I uninstalled everything, and then re-installed nvidia-glx and
nvidia-kernel-2.6.16-1-k7. They are now versions 1.0.8756-4 and 1.0.8756+1
respectively. I didn't compile these myself. The glxinfo and glxgears
output is the same. Any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't receive the email, I had to look at the web
frontend.

Thanks,

Bug#367316: nvidia-glx: Does not accelerate

2006-05-14 Thread Benjamin Kudria
Package: nvidia-glx
Version: 1.0.8756-4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

The driver doesn't work. glxgears -printfps gives ~10fps, and quake2 gives a
constant 5 fps at all times...

# glxinfo | grep direct gives:
direct rendering: Yes

# glxinfo | grep vendor gives:
server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

# glxinfo | grep version gives:
server glx version string: 1.4
client glx version string: 1.4
GLX version: 1.3
OpenGL version string: 2.0.2 NVIDIA 87.56
glu version: 1.3

I *do* have a MOLEX power cord plugged into the card itself.

I compiled the drivers my self using module assistant

Thanks,
Benjamin Kudria

Bug#365654: xserver-xorg-core: Xorg hangs in kernel during startup

2006-05-10 Thread Benjamin Kudria
Actually, this magically went away for me. I'm not seeing this issue
any more (although I have another, my NVidia drivers don't accelerate,
but I haven't filed a bug yet), but I can provide my log and conf files
if you *really* want them.

Thanks,
Benjamin Kudria

Oh, ok.

It's not your problem. :)

But thanks for the hints!

Bug#360164: kmymoney2: Uninstallable in Sid

2006-03-30 Thread Benjamin Kudria
Package: kmymoney2
Version: 0.8.3-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

#apt-get install kmymoney2
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kmymoney2: Depends: libaqbanking0c2a but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libgwenhywfar17c2 (>= 1.18.0) but it is not installable
Depends: libkbanking1 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqbanking1 but it is not going to be installed
