Bug#367316: nvidia-glx: Works for me, though different OpenGL version string
Hi, Ted. Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled everything, and then re-installed nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel-2.6.16-1-k7. They are now versions 1.0.8756-4 and 1.0.8756+1 respectively. I didn't compile these myself. The glxinfo and glxgears output is the same. Any ideas? Sorry for the late reply, I didn't receive the email, I had to look at the web frontend. Bug#365654: xserver-xorg-core: Xorg hangs in kernel during startup
Actually, this magically went away for me. I'm not seeing this issue any more (although I have another, my NVidia drivers don't accelerate, but I haven't filed a bug yet), but I can provide my log and conf files if you *really* want them.
