Bug#724138: [pkg-eucalyptus-maintainers] Bug#724138: Future of the wss4j package in Debian.

2013-09-23 Thread Brian Thomason
Hi Charles,

Thanks for looking into this. No, it is no longer needed moving forward so
can likely be removed from Debian altogether without issue.

Bug#687196: eucalyptus: Please unblock Eucalyptus

2012-09-10 Thread Brian Thomason
Package: eucalyptus
Version: 3.1.0-8
Severity: wishlist

Eucalyptus was uploaded to Unstable before the freeze deadline
but unfortunately there were some lintian issues that needed
soritng out.

Given that Eucalyptus is a new, leaf package that shouldn't
therefore cause any regressions, I request that it be unblocked
for the next Debian release.

We have run our QA suite against it here internally, and aside
from booting from EBS, the functionality of the package is quite
solid.

Thank you for your consideration!

Bug#684453: [pkg-eucalyptus-maintainers] Bug#684453: Bug#684453: Bug#684453: hand over packaging to debian-java team

2012-08-18 Thread Brian Thomason
Hi All,

Sorry for the radio silence. I was waiting to see if we could get
guava-gwt done before handing over to Debian-Java, but it looks like that
may still be a while yet unless someone from Debian java jumps in and helps
out. Apparently there are some differences with some Java primitives in
Sun's JDK, which google uses to compile, and OpenJDK, that are preventing
us from packaging it.

Bug#624167: axis2c: please do not use -Werror

2012-07-31 Thread Brian Thomason
Hi Jonathan,

Your patch directly touches files in the source tree and given that we
maintain the packaging for this in svn currently, there isn't an easy way
for me to apply your patch. Could you provide a debdiff that makes its
mods to the .ac files via debian/patches as well?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of communication here. I just got back from Vegas
and must have just overlooked the bug before then. If you're wanting
to NMU it feel free, or I can do it later today or tomorrow.

Bug#624205: GWT2 packaging

2012-03-20 Thread Brian Thomason
Hi Charles,

I responded to his email stating that the upload I made to Ubuntu is
still quite broken. I thought I had a mostly working build until
further testing proved otherwise. I uploaded it there when I did to
beat the feature freeze deadline. We are currently working out a
contract with credativ UK, a company run by Debian Developer Chris
Halls, to complete the packaging. Alexandre's work has gotten us as
far as we are, but he doesn't have enough free cycles to wrap it up in
a timely manner last time I checked.
