When closing kde session on a dual screen system, ksmserver breaks
$HOME/.kde/share/config/ksmserverrc

In restart command referring to second screen "restartCommand2=" it adds
a ',' after the = sign, if you remove it by hand it is added again after
finishing the session.

Due to this bug kwin do not start for display 0:1

Bug#459152: Add dbus support to use blam with epiphany extension

2008-03-14 Thread Carlos Martin

Jérôme Guelfucci wrote:

Package: blam
Version: 1.8.4-3

This was reported in Ubuntu's bug tracker, a while ago :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/blam/+bug/52132

At the moment, the packaged version of blam doesn't support
dbus-messages, making it unusable with the Epiphany RSS extension
which uses DBUS to communicate with feed readers. It seems that some
users managed to get a dbus support by adding a dbus package to
(build-)deps, maybe libndesk-dbus1.0-cil can be used.

Thank you
This isn't as easy as adding a dependency because the D-Bus library that
it uses has been removed from Debian (and probably from Ubuntu as well).
The upstream development version is compatible with NDesk and I'll
probably backport that to the stable version over easter.

retitle 388303 ITP: gnomint -- x509 Certification Authority management
tool

Thanks

At the moment this program is in a very early stage of development.
Expect missing features and unspect behaviour

As NEW is frozen by the momnet due to the upcoming release of etch, the
package will be available at:

Bug#386084: [PATCH] Re: blam: Fails to start with an exception

2006-09-17 Thread Carlos Martin
Package: blam
Followup-For: Bug #386084

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hello,

With this patch (basically taken from Ubuntu), blam should
start. There are binary versions at http://www.cmartin.tk/blam/ if
you don't want to compile it yourself and feel you can trust me ;)
This is because the package is orphaned and I don't think I'm
qualified to be a maintainer.

The Ubuntu patch has fixes for some stuff about printing, but I can't
find anywhere were that is actually used, so I've ignored that part.
