Hi, I have verified the problem again with VirtualBox 4.2.8 and Kernel 3.2.0-4-486 (Revision 3.2.35-2). The Installation of Guest Additions with this VirtualBox-Version (I think with 4.2.10 also) and your Kernel Revision 3.2.35-2) works well. I have also 3D-Grafik and Gnome 3 works well. -- Verifying archive integrity... All good. Installing graphics libraries and desktop services components ...done. Press Return to close this window... - I mean, your Kernel-Revisions newer as 3.2.35-2 have a bug, not VirtualBox 4.2.x.
