Bug#589404: installation-reports: Squeeze fails to configure monitor

Text based install went flawlessly except for display config which I don't know enough to work around. Thanks for your report. This issue is more related to the X.org server than the installer itself. Hence reassigning this bug report. You may need to add information about your system. Probably sending /var/log/Xorg.0.log would be good already. Thanks for your prompt attention. I would have to re-install to get the log re-created and I am not sure I would know how to attach additional info to the bug report. Bug#589404: Additional info
I did search for an Xorg.conf file or anything that looked like one without success. I searched in /etc and /etc/X11 (including subdirectories). Ok In the last 5 hours it appears that the site has been fixed or the news item that offended has dropped off the list. Bug#383269: Browsers - locking up, Firefox, Epiphany and Mozilla
Package: Firefox Version: 1.0.4 Firefox (and Epiphany and Mozilla) locks up when accessing www.linuxtoday.com. Konqueror does not lock up. Debian 3.1 fully patched to 15 August 2006 Programme fails to respond to mouseclicks except for the close X which responds with a message that programme has stopped responding and offers to kill programme; it does. First occurence about 1900 hours East Australian Time (GMT+10) No other pages I have tried affected. Rebooting into SUSE 9.2 (unpatched; I don't use it normally these days) Firefox does not lockup. Athlon 2000 running appropriate kernel. 256Mb Ram Broadband connection behind NAT box for firewall. I'm not competent to do much more investigation, Sorry Chris Barnard -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
