Bug#206536: Any news?

2007-06-12 Thread Chris Seufert

Hey guys,

Yer i've pretty busy, i think it should be very straight forward. I'll have
another go later this week. If it builds and works fine, then I guess, I'll
get Charles to look at it, and let me know what i would need to do, to
submit it.

Hello Charles,

Thanks for your fast reply. Right now I don't have too much time for
anything else, but I might be able to help at some stuff if required
(but not really maintain phpDoc).

Bug#416166: dovecot - managesieve plugin

2007-12-13 Thread Chris Seufert
So is this any closer, i was hoping that this would have at least got
into Sid by now.

Are there any plans, or is anyone working on getting this integrated?

Theres some more recently updated patches at:
http://sinas.rename-it.nl/~sirius/

Althou there still a few point releases behind the current version, at
least there is some signs of maintenence.

Bug#448549: Unable to install kdebase, dependancy conflict

2007-10-29 Thread Chris Seufert
Package: kdebase
Version: 4:3.94.0-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

There is a dependancy loop conflict in the build as far as i can tell.

# apt-get install -t experimental kdebase
results in:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kdebase: Depends: kdebase-bin (>= 4:3.94.0-2) but 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-1 is to be
installed

and then
# apt-get install -t experimental kdebase-bin
results in:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kdebase-bin: Depends: libxine1 (>= 1.1.4) but it is not going to be installed

and then
# apt-get install -t experimental kdebase-bin libxine1 libxine1-plugins
libxine1-misc-plugins libpulse0 kdelibs5
results in:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kdelibs5: Conflicts: libpulse0 but 0.9.6-2 is to be installed

So either libxine1 depenancies have changed, or kdelibs5 shouldnt conflict with
libpulse0, im not sure
which, but it makes kdebase/experimental uninstallable.

Yer, thanks, that sorted it out... just did a purge and reinstall of the package

That error message isn't particularly intuitive to me... but hey.

type output, this is both rather useless, and a good waste of inbox space (I
can get hundeds of these
sometimes (mainly due to ftp server)

I had thought about setting up an ignore rule for them, however when they are
actually relevant to a
line that hasnt been removed, i would loose that info. It would be best, if the
line immediately
proceeding the message repeaded line was 'ignored' then this line should get
ignored to, and it should
be kept when the line above is not ignored.

Bug#356793: libgmp3c2: Missing AMD64 port

2006-03-14 Thread Chris Seufert
Im using apt sources for testing and stable, is that my problem... it
would seem unusual to not have it in testing if dependant packages
are. Maybe that just a quirk of running AMD64.

and i get this
~# apt-get install libgmp3c2
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Package libgmp3c2 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package libgmp3c2 has no installation candidate

Works for me here too. Can you try the dance of moving your profile
out of the way, running in safe-mode, etc.
