Bug#675363: I had the same problem but it went away
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA256 Hi, I was having the same issues on my HD Graphics 5500, last seen on jessie with original kernel + backports xserver-xorg-video-intel. However since getting the backports kernel, too, this problem disapeared. It also did not reappear in stretch (testing at the time of writing) so far. Your report is quite old, can you verify it still exists? Bug#797961: Workaround I used on jessie
Hi, on jessie, after invoking ecryptfs-setup-swap it would fail activating the swap. This is due to some internal mechanism on cryptsetup part not setting up the mapped device if partition type does not match. As a workaround I had to set the Partition type to "Linux" (83 in MBR, I think 15 in GPT) - after a reboot encrypted swap would be activated As for this problem: Please put it back in testing. The problem does not lie within ecryptfs, the setup is correct. It is cryptsetup not handling it properly. Best Regards, Christian Hawkins
Bug#797821: nemo should pull gvfs-fuse as dependancy for smb to work properly
Package: nemo Version: 2.6.7-1 Severity: normal -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Dear Maintainer, in a default cinnamon install, nemo is included. With this standard setup, mounting smb shares in nemo (and copying) works just fine. Hoewver, when opening a video in vlc or totem, it fails, claiming that the file can not be found. It turns out, that manually installing gvfs-fuse (and rebooting) solved the issue, as now, smb is also mounted on the filesystem u nder /var/run/... I suggest to put this package as dependancy as this is the expected behavior. If nemo is the wrong place, please direct me (or move) this issue to the appropirate project Best Regards Christian Hawkins - -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.1.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages nemo depends on: ii desktop-file-utils 0.22-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.16.1-1 ii gvfs 1.24.2-1 ii libatk1.0-02.16.0-2 ii libc6 2.19-19 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.2-2 ii libcairo2 1.14.2-2 ii libcinnamon-desktop4 2.6.5-1 ii libexempi3 2.2.2-2 ii libexif12 0.6.21-2 ii libgail-3-03.16.6-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.5-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.44.1-1.1 ii libglib2.0-data2.44.1-1.1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.16.6-1 ii libnemo-extension1 2.6.7-1 ii libnotify4 0.7.6-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-01.36.8-3 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1 ii libxml22.9.1+dfsg1-5 ii nemo-data 2.6.7-1 ii shared-mime-info 1.3-1 Versions of packages nemo recommends: ii cinnamon-l10n2.6.3-1 ii gvfs-backends1.24.2-1 ii librsvg2-common 2.40.10-1 pn nemo-fileroller Versions of packages nemo suggests: ii atril [pdf-viewer] 1.8.1+dfsg1-5 pn eog ii totem 3.16.2-1 ii vlc [mp3-decoder] 2.2.1-2+b2 ii vlc-nox [mp3-decoder] 2.2.1-2+b2 ii xdg-user-dirs 0.15-2 - -- no debconf information -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJV507FAAoJEN3zqGdyMf8BcCkH/3uGls+b8TCEk/fJe5g9pq2S otHMnyoenJqekK+4NPjaaEZyroNFvCPL5tQlgwvaXFSQ1l4ZO+gIR1gbg90Z5bgv MTISNgikfyzR0xqOE6+3El0PmGe+TAwM+38Y57hxwu6ryucQ2ah+EnqjytRQXQYE 2H3UDoQVZnxqrgTdAxqrsdlA4CP5TiNLy+3HYsoZCTujr6eQebkXJf4onTLBSFel i1jmoi/vwrExrNasg5Euvi8aukHnR7d5X4JokdOWrJ4cZIaZ8dZrPCP2pIE4K87y Bcbc6qJs9tUy6YnbNBALpqUO7f2Y9uJehANdmSf+fsxdzd3xqyus/tjJKai0uE8= =Tcv3 -END PGP SIGNATURE-
