Bug#925994: kdenlive freezes after doing anything

2019-03-29 Thread Christian Jähnl
Package: kdenlive
Version: 18.12.3-1
Severity: important
Tags: a11y

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I installed kdenlive 18.12.3-1.
I opened an existing project and clicked in the timeline --> frozen.
killing kdenlive - new start
I added a clip and clicked "play" (worked), draged the clip to the timeline,
clicked "play" --> frozen.
killing kdenlive

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

I downloaded the App "kdenlive-18.12.1b-x86_64.appimage", chmod +x --> it
worked.

The last app that worked was: kdenlive-18.08.3-x86_64.AppImage , all other apps
between 18.08... and 18.12.1b... had the same behaviour as the installed
version

   * What was the outcome of this action?

After starting the installed kdenlive from terminal this was the output after
"New project --> 30 fps --> ok --> add a clip --> play --> drag to timeline -->
play --> stop --> click on a different place in the timeline --> play -->
frozen"

In the last months I updated my system, tried kdenlive (it always froze)
downloaded the newes Appimage (it froze too) and used the 18.03 version.
As said, the 18.12 Appimage ist the first one that does not freez

This is the output of the working appimage 18.12.1b-x86_64.appimage :

Bug#631672: tuxguitar: lilypond output incorrect

2011-06-25 Thread Christian Jähnl
Package: tuxguitar
Version: 1.2-7
Severity: minor

When importing a gp3 file that has chord diagrams:
and the chord diagram uses only some of the strings (of a guitar)
for example: string 5 - fret 3, string 3 - no fret.
In guitar pro or other programs (tabazar) it generates a chordsymbol
showing only the used strings and leaves the other without a sign.

When exporting as lilypond the following happens:
A not selected string (neither a fret nor O nor X) produces the ammount 255
which causes lilypond to create a chord symbol with 255 frets which is a
very very long symbol. Therefore no Tabs nor note-lines appear in the
resulting pdf.

My idea:
If the program finds a chord symbol, check if all six strings (of a guitar)
are used, otherwise create a X and not "255".

Hope, this was told clear enough?

Greetings, Christian

Bug#525604: jabref: Jabref beeps when switching virtual, desktops

2009-06-05 Thread Christian Jähnl
Hi!

-Original
Package: jabref
Version: 2.3.1-6
Severity: minor

When using virtual desktops (at least KDE's) Jabref often beeps the
system bell when its desktop is selected.
End Original-

I am using kde 4.2.2-1 and installed jabref 2.3.1-6 right now.
I switched on the speakers, I started jabref and switched between the
virtual desktops using the keyboard and the mouse.

In no case any beep occured.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this effect.

Did you look at "System settings" - "Notifications" - "System bell" and
unmark the square at "Use system bell instead of system notification"?

Greetings,
Chrisu

I can print from tuxguitar!

Although the numbers of the tablature are quite tiny.

Setting the Default and the Note Font from 6 to 7 makes the numbers
visible only half.
But thats another question (how to enlarge the gap between the lines of
the tablature).

Bug#510746: tuxguitar: tuning should be visible at the beginning of the tab-lines

2009-01-04 Thread Christian Jähnl
Package: tuxguitar
Version: 1.0.dak-1

As you can set the tuning it would be fine to have one of the following
things:

At the beginning of each tab-line it would be nice to see the tuning of the
string.
Or:
It would be nice to have written the tuning at least at the top of the first
page.

Tirol in Austria is still covered with snow,

Bug#510741: tuxguitar: pdf output in wrong resolution and not scaleable

2009-01-04 Thread Christian Jähnl
Package: tuxguitar
Version: 1.0.dak-1
Severity: normal

The print preview is fine, but the output of the "export pdf" looks ugly:
double size, but the same resolution as in the preview. So the numbers are
very hard to read.
A song with one sheet in the preview becomes 2 sheets as pdf.

There is no possibility to adjust any settings in the pdf plugin.
