2015-03-19 Thread Clemens Krammer
For those interested, workaround possible with

chromium --touch-devices=123

worked for me, chromium 41 in debian vm, virtualbox 4.3.12r9 on win7
host.

Bug#780509: closed by Riley Baird (Closing bug)

2015-03-18 Thread Clemens Krammer

Hi,

confirm this Bug when upgrading from 40 to 41.

Issues:

- Text Selections not possible, partially marking text in link line not
possible
- Mouse Hover actions do not work entirely.

- Applies only to virtualized environments (e.g. Virtualbox clients with
integrated mouse)

Solution:

- downgrade to 40 (hmmm. didnt figure out where to get older jessie
packages.)

- disable mouse integration (not possible in seamless mode).

Regards - Clemens

Bug#480919: Disable Textured Mode

2008-10-08 Thread Clemens Krammer

Dear All,

I can confirm the tearing problems when using texturedVideo. A disabling
Option would be really nice.

The ubuntu guys have already implemented the 11_hw_overlay_option.diff
patch: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel

By the Way: There is an option to select the adaptor in xine, in the
options -> video -> video display method dialog select overlay, and the
tearing goes away. However, when using xbmc, theres no choice.

Greetings,
Clemens

Dear all,

Bug seems to appear in vnc displays only; when logging in via ordinary
x11 display there are no problems.

Bug#476802: gnome-settings-daemon

2008-05-02 Thread Clemens Krammer

Dear all,

I confirm that the problem persists after upgrading to

ii gnome-settings-daemon 2.22.1-2

Interesting, I also get this strange keyboard warnings, and I also run
through a vnc.

The program 'gnome-settings-daemon' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 2444 error_code 3 request_code 20 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error()
function.)

Bug#330482: hardware-monitor: memory leak, oom-kill

2005-09-28 Thread Clemens Krammer
Package: hardware-monitor
Version: 1.2.1-2
Severity: normal

hardware-monitor eats up memory quickly and is killed by the out of
memory kill procedure (oom) after utilizing the complete memory and swap
area.

I have no idea what exactly caused the memory problem. At the beginning,
hardware-monitor runs normal and shows 2 cpu (hyperthreading pentium 4),
memory, network and swap. I also burned a dvd at that time.

After some time the graphical output of hardware-monitor freezes (and
shows you that there is enough memory free, which is not correct at this
time).

When the whole memory and swap is eaten up the oom-kill procedure
starts:
