Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
I was updating the linux headers from 4.9.0-6 to 4.9.0-7.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Once every month I run apt-get dist-upgrade. That's what I did in this case.
* What was the outcome of this action?
The computer will load the headers, I am able to login, but after I enter my
password, the computer screen goes gray, the fan kicks in, and the desktop will
not load. In order to get my computer to work, I have to load the 4.9.0-6
headers.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
My computer to continue to work with the new header.
