 So which one should I remove? Unstable?

 You should remove all packages that you've installed from either.

I find any debian multimedia packages that was installed from
www.deb-multimedia.org and purged.

The following command lists the installed packages:
aptitude search '~i ~OUnofficial Multimedia Packages'

After that I purged vuze and azureus too, and reinstall vuze and
azureus.

The problem still exist, when I'm trying to search Vuze crashed.

The output from the xterm window is bellow:

 I can’t reproduce your problem.

 It simply looks like DBus is not running/available in your session.

 What is the output of the two following commands:

 $ ps ax|grep dbus-daemon

 3307 ?Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system
 5076 ?Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5
--print-address 7 --session
22890 pts/2S+ 0:00 grep dbus-daemon

 $ echo $DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS

The output of this command abowe is an empty line.

 What is your desktop environment? Does a logout/login, or even a reboot,
 helps?

My desktop environment is Window Maker.

Reboot, or logout/login doesn't help.

I start my X Session with startx command.

Bug#698849: After upgrade can't switch between Workspaces with keyboard mouse wheel)

2013-01-25 Thread Csanyi Pal
I found that this issue is in conjunction with the following.

I did setup the Window Maker to start Emacs when start Window Maker
session. I realised that that after WM start but before Emacs24 start I
can switch with mouse wheel Workspaces.

So I setup WM to not start Emacs24 automatically.

But, this problem remains, because, when I manually start Emacs24, still
can't switch between Workspaces with kyboard shortcuts, and with mouse
wheel.

 Why don't you enter an administrative DN?

Because I don't know its DN name.

When I installed slapd, I set it up with the followings:
Omit OpenLDAP server configuration? No
DNS domain name: nodomain
Organization name: nodomain
Administrator password: secret1
Database backend to use: HDB
Do you want the database to be removed when slapd is purged? No
Move old database? Yes
Allow LDAPv2 protocol? No

What should I enter into Administrator DN field when configuring Gosa?

  Organization name: nodomain

 I personally don't use the debian automatic slapd stuff because it
 never does what I want. In turn I can't tell you the administrative DN
 it is creating automatically. Maybe it's something like
 cn=ldapadmin,dc=nodomain in your case.

 Please call slapcat on the console and take a look if there's a line
 starting with dn: followed by something like cn=admin,...,
 cn=ldapadmin,..., cn=manager, If you've found it in the output
 - this is your administrative DN. Use this one with the password
 you've provided.

I run
$ sudo slapcat

and get the line:
dn: cn=admin,dc=nodomain

so when I write into Administrator DN field:
cn=admin

I get finally the message at bottom:
Bind as user 'cn=admin,dc=nodomain' to server 'ldap://localhost:389'
succeeded!

Now I'm stuck at step 5/8 in the Gosa Configuration:
LDAP schema check 5 / 8

I get message:
Schema specific settings
Schema check failed The following object classes are missing:

gosaObject
gosaAccount
gosaLockEntry
gosaDepartment
gosaCacheEntry
gosaProperties
gosaConfig

However, I have installed the gosa-schema version: 2.7.4-4 debian
package.

I'm reading the /usr/share/doc/gosa/README.ldap file where is explained
what to do to solve this problem.

One must run:
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f your_schema_file.ldif

So I find the schema files here:
/etc/ldap/schema/gosa/
gofax.ldif
gosa-samba3.ldif
gosystem.ldif
goto-mime.ldif
samba3.ldif
gofon.ldif
goserver.ldif
goto.ldif
rfc2307bis.ldif
trust.ldif

Which one should I add with ldapadd command?

I did run the following commands successfully:
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gofax.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gosystem.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f goto-mime.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f samba3.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gofon.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f goto.ldif
$ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f trust.ldif

and at every such command abowe I Check again the LDAP schema check
5 / 8 step, but the error message still remain there.

How can I solve this problem?

Bug#698714: [gosa] Configuring GOsa failed

2013-01-22 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: gosa
Version: 2.7.4-4
Severity: grave

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

I'm trying to configure my Gosa installation following the
/usr/share/doc/gosa/README.Debian.

Pointing my Internet browser to the
http://localhost/gosa/setup.php?js=true

and running
$ sudo echo -n si3rj6ckpff4gf6jpgfh8328a4  /tmp/gosa.auth

I can reach the step 4: LDAP connection setup.

Here I have:
* LDAP connection
Location name: default
Connection URI: ldap://localhost:389
TLS connection: No
Base: dc=nodomain
* Authentication
Administrator DN: an empty field
not checked -- Automatically append LDAP base to administrator DN
Administrator password: an empty field
* Schema based settings
Use RFC 2307bis compliant groups: No
* Current status
Information: Anonymous bind to server 'ldap://localhost:389'
succeeded. Please specify user and password!

When I installed slapd, I set it up with the followings:
Omit OpenLDAP server configuration? No
DNS domain name: nodomain
Organization name: nodomain
Administrator password: secret1
Database backend to use: HDB
Do you want the database to be removed when slapd is purged? No
Move old database? Yes
Allow LDAPv2 protocol? No

I want to use LDAP only on my desktop machine where I installed slapd.

Back to the Gosa Configuration.

Now, when I checked the
Automatically append LDAP base to administrator DN

I get:
Administrator DN: an ampty field and at the and of the field:
',dc=nodomain' without quotes,
Administrator password: secret1
Current status
Information Bind as user ',dc=nodomain' failed!

I can't go further to configure Gosa.
What can I do now to solve this problem?

I expect this Configuration to works out of the box, but it doesn't
work.

Bug#683992: [python-kiwi] RuntimeError: Could not find gazpacho.loader

2012-08-05 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: python-kiwi
Version: 1.9.22-2
Severity: grave

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

on my Debian GNU/Linux testing/sid operating system I have installed
the debian package python-kiwi Version: 1.9.22-2.

When I try to run person.py in:

/usr/share/doc/python-kiwi/examples/framework/person/person.py

I get error message:

$ python person.py

RuntimeError: Could not find gazpacho.loader, it needs to be installed
to load the
gladefile /usr/share/doc/python-kiwi/examples/framework/person/Person.glade

When I search for the gazpacho debian package on my system, I can't
find them to install:

$ aptitude search gazpacho

gives me no output.

Accordingly to this:
http://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gazpacho.html

on my system the gazpacho package isn't installable.

I wrote to the python.kiwi mailing list and get the following answer
from Johan Dahlin:

The latest version of kiwi is 1.9.35. You can fetch it from
http://pypi.python.org/pypi/kiwi-gtk.

 When I try to run person.py in:

 /usr/share/doc/python-kiwi/examples/framework/person/person.py

[..]
 RuntimeError: Could not find gazpacho.loader, it needs to be installed
 to load the
 gladefile /usr/share/doc/python-kiwi/examples/framework/person/Person.glade

This is probably a broken tarfile which lacks the .glade file.

Gazpacho has been deprecated and removed in favor of gtk builder in
newer versions of kiwi.

So what is the solution to solve this problem?

Bug#664453: [pida] expected enumeration type MooPanePosition, but got

Hi Tobias,

Tobias Hansen tobias@gmx.de írta:

 I can't reproduce the bug. Do you still have the issue?

Yes, still I have it.

 Do you have both python2.6 and python2.7 installed?

Yes I have both installed.

 Could you try removing the folder $HOME/.pida2 and see if that helps?

I just removed this folder with the command:

$ rm -v -R .pida2/

After that I start pida:

$ pida

but now I can get a little bit further, because I get a dialog box:

PIDA First Run Wizard

After I select Emacs editor and hit OK button, again I get PIDA
freezed, and I can only interrupt the application by Control+C.

On the xterm window I get the following output:

** (pida:25726): WARNING **: expected enumeration type MooPanePosition,

** (pida:25726): WARNING **: expected enumeration type MooPanePosition,
but got GtkPositionType instead

** (pida:25726): WARNING **: expected enumeration type MooPanePosition,

On the screen I still can see the message:

PIDA is starting... and it loves you!

Here I hit: Control+C

Bug#683406: [pgadmin3] To get nicer display of a Data Output columns in the Query Tool

2012-07-31 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: pgadmin3
Version: 1.14.2-2
Severity: wishlist

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

when I run a SQL query in the Query Tool window I get in the
Output pane / Data Output really strait columns.

The width of these columns are determined by the columns names but what
happen if a data in such a column is wider then the column name of
that column? Then one can't see that data entarely in such column.

I wish to get columns so wide that one can see any data in columns
entarely. Say I would be happy if I get the columns displayed so wide
that they fill out the entire Output pane horizontally.

Bug#682954: [phppgadmin] The phpPgAdmin displays table data poorly

2012-07-27 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: phppgadmin
Version: 5.0.4-1
Severity: important

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

in the Table Browse view some of the datas are poorly displayed.

What I'm mean here is visible if one download the image of this
display problem from here (one must click on the download icon):

http://cspl.me/joomla/index.php/itt-helyben/kepek

I can try to explain the problem here in words.
(English isn't my first language.)

On the image one can see 9 rows in the Table.
All rows are displayed properly but but the second, third and sixth.

In the column named 'unnep_neve' phpPgAdmin display the column
too strait so one can see the text in the second row as
'A II. világháború szerb áldozatainak emlékna#8230;'
in place of the proper text:
'A II. világháború szerb áldozatainak emléknapja'.

In the second row in the 'megjegyzes' column one can see empty field,
but there should to be the text:
'November 11. a napja, de az vasárnapra esik, ezért hétfőn ünnepeljük meg.'

In the sixth row the problem is the same as in the second row,
but with different text.

So it seems to me that that phpPgAdmin displays Table data poorly because if
a text in a column exceeds some length then it can't be seen properly or at all.

Certainly in the psql prompt these rows can be seen properly when I run the
SELECT statement on this table.

Bug#682479: [mysql-workbench] Autocompletition buggy when editing a Column Name of a Table

2012-07-23 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: mysql-workbench
Version: 5.2.40+dfsg-1+b1
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

when editing a Column Name of a Table in the MySQL Table Editor
and want to enter a new column name, the autocompletition mechanism
delete my new entry modifying it, so I can't enter a new name.

The workaround is that that I must to click once with my mouse into
Datatype field and then return into Column Name field to enter the new
column name.

Regards from Pál

2012-07-17 Thread Csanyi Pal
Package: dictem

Hi,

when I use in dictem the same db again, I get error message [1]:

But when I do this again,

I get the message that I can't to copy and paste here because then I
get a different text, so I attach it as a screenshot of the region into

 I'm waiting for a sponsor for the new version, could you try it from

I have now installed gorm.app_1.2.10-2.1_amd64.deb that has this
bug#671393.

 APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing')
  Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)

  Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores)

As you can see from the abowe informations my Debian system is a 64
bit system.

On the repository you abowe gives me I can find sources or debian
packages only for i386 systems, that is only for 32 bit systems, right?

How can I try 32 bit gorm.app on a 64 bit system?
Is it worthy at all to try a 32 bit application on a 64 bit system?

 ignore it, isn't a directory created? if not just dpkg-source -x *.dsc
 then go ahead... aren't you on irc?

I did install this way Gorm.app and find that Gorm can saves setup
whereabout this bug sole between Gorm sessions.

However we can close this bug report only when one can install gorm.app
regularly from the Debian GNU/Linux (not freebsdk) repository.

 Sorry for the late reply.

 Does this still occur with more recent kernels?

Yes, on my old laptop where I use an USB2.0/Ethernet adapter, and the
kernel is:

Bug#543265: pgdesigner: After a long work but saved frequently, the project file still remain almost empty. The work lost.

2009-08-27 Thread Csanyi Pal

Hi Pierre,

Pierre Chifflier írta:

severity 543265 normal
tag 543265 = moreinfo unreproducible
thanks

Hi Paul,

I tried creating a project, working on it (saving frequently) and did
not have any empty file.
Could you provide more details (file format : ini or xml ? connection to
database ?) Did the problem happen again ?

Pierre

I saved the project in .ini file.
When I try to create database PgDesigner can't to create it.
The connection to the database works howewer.

Then I was going to use another application to create PostgreSQL database,
and created with it tables.

Today I try out again PgDesigner an can Import that database into
PgDesigner.
Then I created a Table 'probe' with two columns, save the project, and
quit PgDesigner.

Then I'm using another application and open with it the database,
but can't find the 'probe' table created with PgDesigner.

Then I close the other application and run again PgDesigner.
Now I'm trying to open the project but get ERROR message:
- 12 - Object procedure::abstime already defined.

When I hit OK on this Dialog Box, then get PgDesigner but with empty,
gray workspace.

pgdesigner.log:
[2009-08-27 21:31:48]   Start Application
[2009-08-27 21:32:04]   (CProjectXmlReader:Error:-12) Object
procedure::abstime already defined

I'm using Window Maker Version 0.92.0, if this is relevant.
I notice some difficulties when using PgDesigner:
when I type the Name of the table in the Table window when being
created, the field

PK name remain empty.

One more notice.
Now I created a new project in PgDesigner with one table and two columns.
When I try to create the new database, I get ERROR:
Unable to connect to database!
Cannot open database: FATAL: database Proba does not exist.

Naturally, the database does'n exist, because I want to create it right now.

I hope this help!

Bug#539393: The gnustep packages are not new enough in the Debian stable release.

  I really wish we could go with the latest tarballs of GNUstep,

 You mean that we should not wait for stable even-numbered releases
 and incrementally upload every release? This didn't make much sense
 in the past, when upstream were releasing identical (say) 0.12.0 and
 0.13.0, with the former getting regular bugfix micro releases.

 But now that they're changing the release policy slightly, maybe we
 can do that. And there's not much difference in stability between
 an even and odd-numbered release, IMHO. Perhaps it is a good idea
 to discuss this on gnustep-dev.

 I agree with you that having the newest is the best for the majority
 of the users.

  would it be possible to have them at least in experimental?

 This is not going to help users much, as due to the soname bumps
 every dependent package has to be rebuilt...

  I'm also interested having the latest tarballs of GNUstep packaged
  in Debian, since I need them for the http://livecd.gnustep.org/

 Ack. So I suggest that we upload gnustep-make and gnustep-base
 (1.19.1) in sid, gnustep-gui 0.17.1 in experimental, then ask
 debian-release for another transition, and upload it to sid once we
 have green light from them. Does this sound good?

Yes, this sound good for me! :)

Bug#517986: After change sources.list to debian mirror can't use aptitude

2009-05-21 Thread Csanyi Pal

Hi,

I tried to install Debian GNU/Linux Lenny on this hardware
using the Netinstall CD too but without any success.

I get an Error message at stage 'Configuring APT'
or 'Installing APT sources' - I can't remember now -
after the new linux-image-2.6.26-2-486 was installed
successfully.

The Error message says about that that the Installation at APT
failed.

So I think it's probably a hardware issue and not an Aptitude bug.
