Bug#698849: After upgrade can't switch between Workspaces with keyboard mouse wheel)
I found that this issue is in conjunction with the following. I did setup the Window Maker to start Emacs when start Window Maker session. I realised that that after WM start but before Emacs24 start I can switch with mouse wheel Workspaces. So I setup WM to not start Emacs24 automatically. But, this problem remains, because, when I manually start Emacs24, still can't switch between Workspaces with kyboard shortcuts, and with mouse wheel. -- Regards from Pal -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. No Move old database? Yes Allow LDAPv2 protocol? No What should I enter into Administrator DN field when configuring Gosa? I personally don't use the debian automatic slapd stuff because it never does what I want. In turn I can't tell you the administrative DN it is creating automatically. Maybe it's something like cn=ldapadmin,dc=nodomain in your case. Please call slapcat on the console and take a look if there's a line starting with dn: followed by something like cn=admin,..., cn=ldapadmin,..., cn=manager, If you've found it in the output - this is your administrative DN. Use this one with the password you've provided. I run $ sudo slapcat and get the line: dn: cn=admin,dc=nodomain so when I write into Administrator DN field: cn=admin I get finally the message at bottom: Bind as user 'cn=admin,dc=nodomain' to server 'ldap://localhost:389' succeeded! Now I'm stuck at step 5/8 in the Gosa Configuration: LDAP schema check 5 / 8 I get message: Schema specific settings Schema check failed The following object classes are missing: gosaObject gosaAccount gosaLockEntry gosaDepartment gosaCacheEntry gosaProperties gosaConfig However, I have installed the gosa-schema version: 2.7.4-4 debian package. I'm reading the /usr/share/doc/gosa/README.ldap file where is explained what to do to solve this problem. One must run: $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f your_schema_file.ldif So I find the schema files here: /etc/ldap/schema/gosa/ gofax.ldif gosa-samba3.ldif gosystem.ldif goto-mime.ldif samba3.ldif gofon.ldif goserver.ldif goto.ldif rfc2307bis.ldif trust.ldif Which one should I add with ldapadd command? I did run the following commands successfully: $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gofax.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gosystem.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f goto-mime.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f samba3.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f gofon.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f goto.ldif $ sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f trust.ldif and at every such command abowe I Check again the LDAP schema check 5 / 8 step, but the error message still remain there. Bug#682954: [phppgadmin] The phpPgAdmin displays table data poorly
Package: phppgadmin Version: 5.0.4-1 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hi, in the Table Browse view some of the datas are poorly displayed. What I'm mean here is visible if one download the image of this display problem from here (one must click on the download icon): http://cspl.me/joomla/index.php/itt-helyben/kepek I can try to explain the problem here in words. (English isn't my first language.) On the image one can see 9 rows in the Table. All rows are displayed properly but but the second, third and sixth. In the column named 'unnep_neve' phpPgAdmin display the column too strait so one can see the text in the second row as 'A II. világháború szerb áldozatainak emlékna#8230;' in place of the proper text: 'A II. világháború szerb áldozatainak emléknapja'. In the second row in the 'megjegyzes' column one can see empty field, but there should to be the text: 'November 11. a napja, de az vasárnapra esik, ezért hétfőn ünnepeljük meg.' In the sixth row the problem is the same as in the second row, but with different text. So it seems to me that that phpPgAdmin displays Table data poorly because if a text in a column exceeds some length then it can't be seen properly or at all. Certainly in the psql prompt these rows can be seen properly when I run the SELECT statement on this table. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 unstablewww.debian-multimedia.org 500 unstableftp.debian.org 500 testing www.debian-multimedia.org 500 testing ftp.debian.org 500 stable dl.google.com --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ==-+-=== libapache2-mod-php5| 5.4.4-3 OR php5-cgi | php5-pgsql | 5.4.4-3 apache2| OR httpd | libjs-jquery | 1.7.2+debian-2 Recommends (Version) | Installed =-+-=== postgresql-doc| 9.1+134 Suggests(Version) | Installed =-+-=== postgresql| slony1-bin| -- Regards from Pal -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#543265: pgdesigner: After a long work but saved frequently, the project file still remain almost empty. The work lost.
Hi Pierre, Pierre Chifflier írta: severity 543265 normal tag 543265 = moreinfo unreproducible thanks Hi Paul, I tried creating a project, working on it (saving frequently) and did not have any empty file. Could you provide more details (file format : ini or xml ? connection to database ?) Did the problem happen again ? Pierre I saved the project in .ini file. Then I was going to use another application to create PostgreSQL database, and created with it tables. Today I try out again PgDesigner an can Import that database into PgDesigner. Then I created a Table 'probe' with two columns, save the project, and quit PgDesigner. Then I'm using another application and open with it the database, but can't find the 'probe' table created with PgDesigner. Then I close the other application and run again PgDesigner. Now I'm trying to open the project but get ERROR message: - 12 - Object procedure::abstime already defined. When I hit OK on this Dialog Box, then get PgDesigner but with empty, gray workspace. pgdesigner.log: [2009-08-27 21:31:48] Start Application [2009-08-27 21:32:04] (CProjectXmlReader:Error:-12) Object procedure::abstime already defined I'm using Window Maker Version 0.92.0, if this is relevant. Bug#539393: The gnustep packages are not new enough in the Debian stable release.
Yavor Doganov wrote: Gürkan Sengün wrote: If there are 0.16.x point releases, we'll upload them. 0.17.x are unstable and won't be packaged. I really wish we could go with the latest tarballs of GNUstep, You mean that we should not wait for stable even-numbered releases and incrementally upload every release? This didn't make much sense in the past, when upstream were releasing identical (say) 0.12.0 and 0.13.0, with the former getting regular bugfix micro releases. But now that they're changing the release policy slightly, maybe we can do that. And there's not much difference in stability between an even and odd-numbered release, IMHO. Perhaps it is a good idea to discuss this on gnustep-dev. I agree with you that having the newest is the best for the majority of the users. would it be possible to have them at least in experimental? This is not going to help users much, as due to the soname bumps every dependent package has to be rebuilt... I'm also interested having the latest tarballs of GNUstep packaged in Debian, since I need them for the http://livecd.gnustep.org/ Ack. So I suggest that we upload gnustep-make and gnustep-base (1.19.1) in sid, gnustep-gui 0.17.1 in experimental, then ask debian-release for another transition, and upload it to sid once we have green light from them. Bug#517986: After change sources.list to debian mirror can't use aptitude
Hi, I tried to install Debian GNU/Linux Lenny on this hardware using the Netinstall CD too but without any success. I get an Error message at stage 'Configuring APT' or 'Installing APT sources' - I can't remember now - after the new linux-image-2.6.26-2-486 was installed successfully. The Error message says about that that the Installation at APT failed. So I think it's probably a hardware issue and not an Aptitude bug. -- Regards, Paul -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
