Bug#644484: gnome-shell does not start

Bug#639017: network-manager does not honor 'ask password everytime' option
Package: network-manager Version: 0.8.9997-1 Severity: normal The network manager does not honour the 'Ask password every time' option. Every time I enter the password I select that checkbox. But when I reboot/reconnect to the network it uses the old password and fails and then shows the password dialog. I see that the 'Ask for this password every time' is unchecked. Bug#621102: gnome-screensaver does not show unlock screen
Package: gnome-screensaver Version: 2.91.92-1 Severity: important I recently upgraded to experimental version of gnome-screensaver with gnome-shell and since then I have been facing this issue. After the configured idle time the screensaver gets activated, but when I want to unlock the screen no unlock dialog is shown. When I move the cursor or press some keys the desktop background flashes momentarily. To get back my desktop I login to a tty and kill the gnome-screensaver process. After this a new problem arises. The gnome-screensaver does not kick in after this. Even if I manually ask gnome to lock the screen the screen does not get locked. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers lenny APT policy: (500, 'lenny'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-screensaver depends on: ii dbus-x11 1.4.6-1simple interprocess messaging syst ii gnome-icon-theme 2.91.93-1 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii gnome-session-bin 2.30.2-4 The GNOME Session Manager - Minima ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 2.91.92-2 GSettings deskop-wide schemas ii libc6 2.13-0exp5 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libdbus-1-3 1.4.6-1simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.92-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-02.23.3-1 GDK Pixbuf library ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-desktop-3-0 2.91.93-1 Utility library for loading .deskt ii libgnomekbd4 2.30.2-2 GNOME library to manage keyboard c ii libgtk-3-03.0.6-1The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpam0g 1.1.2-2Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libx11-6 2:1.4.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.2.0-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxklavier16 5.1-1 X Keyboard Extension high-level AP ii libxxf86vm1 1:1.1.1-1 X11 XFree86 video mode extension l Versions of packages gnome-screensaver recommends: ii gnome-power-manager 2.91.92-1 power management tool for the GNOM ii libpam-gnome-keyring 2.91.91-1 PAM module to unlock the GNOME key gnome-screensaver suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
