Yes I know this file. I enable openvpn via systemd template. My config is (and has not the best name) under: /etc/openvpn/server.conf So I enable it via: systemctl enable openvpn@server If I also enable the one form github via: systemctl enable my-openvpn@server And now diff those two files (see attachment because of the long lines) they are different. Bug#740942: Indeed I have left over for samba and even for samba-ad-dc in various rc*.d
Hello, On Tue, 26 Aug 2014 19:43:57 +0200 Michael Biebl wrote: > Might be misunderstanding. > What you should remove are the symlinks to /etc/init.d/samba. I just remove samba symlinks with # update-rc.d -f samba remove and the problem still exists. I just have the problem since the systemd upgrade to 215-4. I wrote my information to bug #762002. So I copy the interesting parts from there: Maybe the problem is the running process bin/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent --watch I tried to kill (with -9) it and it changes to [systemd-tty-ask] I moved /bin/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent away but now systemctl is and I also have to wait for 5 minutes 1964 pts/200:00:00 systemctl 1965 pts/200:00:00 systemctl 1966 ?00:00:00 samba 1967 ?00:00:00 samba-ad-dc 1972 ?00:00:00 systemctl I found a similar problem here https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=737825 Yes, my systemd is also running with PID 1 I tried to debug it with: http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/Debugging/#shutdowncompleteseventually but I didn't get a /shutdown-log.txt file. So I stopped samba with: # systemctl stop samba.service I attached the (debug-)dmesg from stopping samba. I can't see the problem. Has someone else an idea? Bug#753914: snort: Permission problem with /var/run/snort*pid
Package: snort Version: 2.9.5.3-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, stopping (or restarting) snort result in a message: snort[2674]: Could not remove pid file /var/run//snort_eth0.pid: Permission denied Because snort has "snort"-user permissions the file has the wrong permissions: # ll /var/run/snort_eth0.pid -rw-r- 1 root root 5 Jul 6 09:05 /var/run/snort_eth0.pid I think the problem is, that the init script creates the pid file (with root permissions) and later on the snort process (with snort permissions) tries to delete the file. After snort exits the file is deleted by the init. Maybe the init-script can change the permissions? BTW: I'm using systemd Thanks for packaging snort! The two files under /usr/lib/nvidia/ are missing: libGL.so.1.2.xlibmesa libglx.so.xlibmesa (and I can not install them with a debian package) I will take a look to the nvidia(-glx) package. Yes, this would be a really nice x-mas present ;-) I can not use KDE 3.5 from experimental, because k3b breaks with dbus-qt-1c2 and I need my k3b :-( -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDrR6kF7lQkYolXTIRAgVCAJwO6p91RxdfP1MEY3UVSgM1FN440QCgkSl1 gas2V2khSzpQxL5PYCBsneA= =/RxY -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#337502: klaptopdaemon: deprecated /proc/acpi/sleep should be changed to /sys/power/state

Have you tested this patch yourself? No, I didn't test it, but it looks very easy. If the patch would check for /proc/acpi/sleep and it not exist and then use /sys/power/state would be more complicated. I don't compile klaptodaemon by my self. So I can not test it (in an easy way). I think the patch has a problem: What happen with the 2.4 Kernels if there is a /proc/acpi/sleep but no /sys/power/state? Bug#337502: klaptopdaemon: deprecated /proc/acpi/sleep should be changed to /sys/power/state
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Package: klaptopdaemon Version: 4:3.4.3-1 Severity: normal In linux kernel version higher then 2.6.13, CONFIG_ACPI_SLEEP_PROC_SLEEP is marked as deprecated. It adds /proc/acpi/sleep interface that klaptop daemon uses for sleep states. If this file is not present, klaptop is not able to send signals for standby and other powersaving modes. As this interface is deprecated by /sys/power/state, it should be supported by klaptop. It is also avaiable in the 2.6.8 Kernel.
