Bug#410408: mozilla-firefox: fails to save state when using xsm

2007-02-10 Thread Daniel Skorka
Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.4-2sarge15
Severity: normal

I'm using xsm to fulfill my session management needs. When I choose to
save a checkpoint or to shutdown with a checkpoint, firefox-bin always
reports that it did not successfully save its state. I realize that I am
running a backported Xorg server. However, libsm6 and xutils are still at
4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge3, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Bug#421966: trackballs: Segfaults when trying to start a level

2007-05-02 Thread Daniel Skorka
Package: trackballs
Version: 1.1.2-1
Severity: normal

Trackballs segfaults and dumps core when trying to start a level. The
menu itself seems to work fine. Note that examining the core shows the
segfault happens inside i915_dri.so (i.e. the Intel 915 DRI driver); so
it is possible that this is not actually a bug in trackballs. However,
of the numerous OpenGL applications on my system it is the only one that
crashes in such a manner.

Bug#399786: gaim: steals focus to buddy list or conversation window

2007-08-21 Thread Daniel Skorka
Package: gaim
Version: 1:2.0.0+beta5-10
Followup-For: Bug #399786

Whenever the status is changed from Offline to a state that requires
going online, gaim will steal focus to the buddy list or conversation
window as soon as it has logged onto the server(s). This may happen
several seconds later, thus stealing keystrokes meant for other
programs.

Bug#439068: linuxdcpp0.691: deliberately remaps itself on startup

2007-08-21 Thread Daniel Skorka
Package: linuxdcpp0.691
Version: 0.0.1.cvs20061024-1

I have this line in my ~/.fvwm/.fvwm2rc:
Style Linuxdcpp StartsOnPage 1 1, SkipMapping
which should place it on a certain page of the current desktop without
switching the viewport to that page.
However, linuxdcpp immediatly remaps itself to a different position on
startup, which most of the time is the current page, but can happen to
be outside of the desktop.

Bug#358245: ayttm: unable to use with ICQ account

2006-03-21 Thread Daniel Skorka
Package: ayttm
Version: 0.4.6+26-1
Severity: important

I seem unable to connect to ICQ with ayttm. The problem comes in one of 3
flavors:

1) Not specifying a proxy server
The message bar says "Setting (on ICQ) to online", but nothing else
happens. I get a message on the console saying

** WARNING **: eb_icq UNKNOWN CONNECTION PROBLEM

2) specifying the local proxy
I have a http proxy on this machine (tinyproxy) wich forwards to an upstream
proxy if appropriate.
ayttm gets unresponsive (no window updates), on the console I get:

Trying to connect ...

>HTTP/1.0 403 Access violation

3) specifying the correct upstream http proxy
A message box pops up saying "HTTP proxy error: permission denied."
On the console I get

Trying to connect ...

>HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden

** WARNING **: eb_icq UNKNOWN CONNECTION PROBLEM
Error sending in send_flap!

The proxies work and don't require authorization. Connecting to ICQ
works if I use another client (ickle). This problems makes ayttm useless
to me.
