You're absolutely right, no problem. I created a new package for
testing-proposed-updates, you can find attached two debdiff:
sushi_1.4.0+git20160822+dfsg-2.debdiff : debdiff against -1 release
(current testing)
sushi_1.4.0+git20160822+dfsg-2.debdiff-against-unstable: debdiff against -3
release (current unstable), this shows reverted changes.

Honestly I'm not sure if testing-proposed-updates is what you meant in your
email, is this ok? Or do I have to upload a new package in unstable to
revert that change?

Thank you,
Devid

Bug#857772: Fix uploaded

2017-03-18 Thread Devid Antonio Filoni
Thank you Chris for pointing out that typo and providing a fix! I've
uploaded a fixed package.

Thank you Adrian for your efforts too, however please be more careful in
future, you uploaded a package with -2.1 as revision, but the package in
unstable is -1 so you were supposed to use -1.1 as revision number. I had
to upload two packages because I noticed this mistake after the first
upload...

Thank you again,

Bug#801351: Debian bug #801351: gufw crashes while using the litening report pane

2016-10-16 Thread Devid Antonio Filoni
Hi,
I think this is a GTK issue, looking at the provided log looks like you're
using Debian stable which has gtk3.0 3.14.5 and gufw 12.10 (a very old
version of gufw).
Can anyone reproduce this on Debian testing/unstable using gufw 16.10 and
latest libgtk-3-0 packages?

Thanks,
Devid

Hi,
thanks for your feedback! I'm closing this bug.

All Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error messages comes from mate-desktop

to gufw too as Java is not used at all in the application, I was not able
to find it even grepping the source code.

Devid

I'll adopt it if thats what's needed, but I would prefer to co-maintain

other critical issues with the package right now, so I don't really
understand the maintainer's dire tone.  I think the package is fine

Well, I would like to maintain it too, but I'm not sure to have the

Bug#510348: dillo2.0 fltk package

2009-01-08 Thread Devid Antonio Filoni

Hi,
I've worked on a fltk2 package and it seems to be ok, my sponsor will upload it
as soon as possible and then I will update the dillo package. I'm sorry for the
delay with this.

Subject: Bug#510348: dillo2.0 fltk package

Hi,

just to introduce myself. I'm the creator of that package on
http://misc.andi.de1.cc/dillo

I have provided that one so that debian users can quickly install
dillo. It is not the cleanest way to create a debian package,..
but the quickest.

I did not use pbuilder.
Because I do not know what's the clean way with fltk2 (since it is
a snapshot ...) I decided to
not package it and I just did the usual ./configure make make install
for the fltk snapshot
before starting dpkg-buildpackage.
And yes, the build dependencies are wrong (gtk is of course no build
dependancy).
I just took the old debian diff and changed it as less as needed.

Greetings
Andreas Kemnade

Bug#510348: Removal of dillo and claws-mail dillo plugin?

2009-01-03 Thread Devid Antonio Filoni
I'm the maintainer of dillo package. I'm working on a fltk2 package in order to
update dillo to the 2.0 version, I don't think we should remove dillo package
right now from unstable as I'm working on it.

It looks like dillo could be removed due to the RC bug #510348 but to
do that, the claws-mail-dillo-viewer plugin also needs to be removed.
After only a v.brief look at the claws-mail package, removing that
plugin appears trivial. Are there any other problems with removing the
dillo-viewer from claws-mail?

Can an upload of claws-mail be arranged that drops the dillo-viewer?
(I'm happy to do an NMU if that is a problem.)
