Bug#382852: guichan 0.6.1

2007-02-07 Thread Ferreira Yohann
Hi there,

The libguichan0 and libguichan0-dev 0.6.1 are available in Debian experimental
already, but not into unstable, due to the approach of etch's release.

Enjoy !

Regards,

Bertram

(I consider this bug as 'closed'.)

 Hello

There's this new guichan version, can you please update the debian package?

 Yours,
 Guerkan

Bug#328094: udev 0.100-2

2006-09-27 Thread Ferreira Yohann
Hi,

As I can see, udev has a bad time loading properly the ipw2200 firmware.

Note : the firmware_helper.sh has been renamed into firmware.agent if I'm
right...

With this version of udev (0.100-2), the firmware loading isn't working.

finally, I came to think that the problem was that the kernel module was
loaded
(and the firmware searched) before udev read its config files.

Btw, I had to add this action the file /etc/udev/udev.rules :
SUBSYSTEM==firmware, ACTION==add, RUN+=firmware.agent
(So, that wasn't added in the end or removed in between 0.68 - 0.100.)

To make it work, I added a little script that did the following commands as a
pre-up for the wifi interface in /etc/network/interfaces :

pre-up rmmod ipw2200
pre-up modprobe ipw2200

post-down rmmod ipw2200

(That reloads udev and forces the ipw2200 module to look again for a
firmware.)
N.B. : The post-down command is avoid a bug with the ACPI at shutdown.

Maybe some doc should be added to that, and that action should be readded in
the udev.rules file.

Anyway, I hope I helped correcting the problem.

See ya.

Bug#382852: N/A

2006-08-23 Thread Ferreira Yohann
Hi again,

I moved the 0.5.0 packages to
deb http://bertram.ifrance.com/libguichan/0.5.0 ./
to not bother the current tmw package which depends on the version 0.4.0-5.

Thanks for your patience,

Bertram

 Hello again,
I'll report, that the updated packages aren't available yet, not on your
 or on a experimental mirror.

Bug#356133: libguichan0-dev: Fixed dependency on xlibmesa-gl-dev

2006-03-22 Thread Ferreira Yohann
Hi,

Sorry for having been late to answer your mail.

I've searched the debian reference and I didn't find out how to put conditions
in the Build-Depends: field of debian/control.

Build-Depends: libgl1-mesa-dev | xlibmesa-gl-dev
doesn't work, for instance. Did you suggest passing by the Depends: field ?

As for now, if you have no other solutions to help me, I'll make it compile
against libgl1-mesa-dev.

Anyway, a great thanks for ringing my bell about that dep problem.

Regards,

Bertram

 Package: libguichan0-dev
 Severity: normal

 libguichan0-dev depends (and build-depends) on xlibmesa-gl-dev, but
it can be built using libgl1-mesa-dev. Furthermore, xlibmesa-gl* will
be dropped after the transition toward Xorg 7.

I suggest to add the optional dependency on libgl1-mesa-dev, or better
 use libgl-dev.

Guichan is a small, efficient C++ GUI library designed for games.
It comes with a standard set of widgets and can use several different objects
for displaying graphics and grabbing user input.

Guichan has a very abstract design which allows users of Guichan to use
different objects for displaying of graphics and grabbing of user input.
Guichan comes with (for now) 3 implemented graphics objects
(SDLGraphics, OpenGLGraphics and AllegroGraphics) and 2 implemented input
objects (SDLInput and AllegroInput),
