Bug#970664: libvte-2.91-0: Terminal not displaying correctly
Package: libvte-2.91-0 Version: 0.62.0-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Dear Maintainer, After an upgrade of libvte gnome-terminal and other software using the library (gedit terminal plugin) doesn't work. Reverting to 0.60.3-1 of libvte and gnome-terminal 3.36.2-3 fixes the issue. Bug#865478: geany: Slow navigation using keyboard or mouse in Gnome
Package: geany Version: 1.29-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, While using Geany in Gnome I found that sometimes code navigations was slow, changing to a new line o making selections were reflected after aprox 1 second on the screen. Just opening a file and navigating doesn't trigger this problem, after editing, saving or selecting some text the issue shows up. I have other setup of Stretch with MATE desktop and the problem isn't there. I also compiled a clone of the geany github repo and I was able to reproduce the problem (in Gnome). -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_CL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_CL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=es_CL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages geany depends on: ii geany-common 1.29-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.22.0-1 ii libc62.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcairo21.14.8-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.7+b1 ii libfreetype6 2.6.3-3.2 ii libgcc1 1:6.3.0-18 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.31-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libpangoft2-1.0-01.40.5-1 ii libstdc++6 6.3.0-18 geany recommends no packages.
