Bug#785130: (no subject)

2019-01-31 Thread Felix Defrance
Hi Paul, Brent,

It's hard to known witch is the right way to do.

@Paul, you say you are unimpressed by the work of extremshok. Can you
explain why ? Is the work isn't trustable ?

@Brent your packging seems missing somethings like the location of the
debian sources as I see. The VCS not pointing on salsa.debian.org and no
source to building the package is provided on github... Maybe you could
improve that by relocate your work on salsa ;)
On the other hand, if you want to get sponsor, you could solve lintian
warnings too. Ask help to the mentors

I'm not debian packaging expert, but I hope the subject will be
clarified, I'm clamav user, and I would like  to know if it's better to
purge or upgrade clamav-unofficial-sigs

Thanks

Bug#899239: (no subject)

2018-08-06 Thread Felix Defrance
Dear Maintainer,

Oracle has changed the file name pattern so make-jpkg doesn't recognise
it. Renaming it makes make-jpkg create a DEB file as expected (so a
corresponding change to the programs pattern matching function is in
order):

    $ mv jre-10.0.2_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz jre-10u02-linux-x64.tar.gz

    $ make-jpkg jre-10u02-linux-x64.tar.gz

The install was success with :

    # dpkg -i oracle-java10-jre_10u02_amd64.deb

Thx,

Ok I don't unknow that, I'll use upgrade ;)

And I don't unknow why systemd:amd64 was marked as removed..  I'm still
curious too!

Another things important, I told a misstake! When my system broken this
morning, to solve the problem I have installed systemd:amd64 in version
238-2 by executing :

dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/systemd_238-2_amd64.deb

After that, I got other problem with gnome-shell and I needed to
downgrade lot of packages...

So I'm confuse, I answered to quickly at this bug :/

Hi,

I confirm this bug. It break the normal booting.

I temporary solved the problem by installing systemd in version 237-4
(the installation of 238-2 don't solve the problem)

There is my log, I hope that can help

Bug#863612: (no subject)

2017-07-03 Thread Felix Defrance
Hello,

Same issue here but I found a workaround.

I defined inet in /etc/default/opendmarc but it's not readed anymore by
opendmarc systemd unit.

cat /etc/default/opendmarc
# Command-line options specified here will override the contents of
# /etc/opendmarc.conf. See opendmarc(8) for a complete list of options.
#DAEMON_OPTS=""
#
# Uncomment to specify an alternate socket
# Note that setting this will override any Socket value in opendkim.conf
#SOCKET="local:/var/run/opendmarc/opendmarc.sock" # default
#SOCKET="inet:54321" # listen on all interfaces on port 54321
#SOCKET="inet:12345@localhost" # listen on loopback on port 12345
#SOCKET="inet:12345@192.0.2.1" # listen on 192.0.2.1 on port 12345
SOCKET="inet:10028@127.0.0.1"

I readed in /usr/share/doc/opendmarc/README.Debian this information:

Users may also need to move the socket into a directory accessible by the
Postfix chroot; this can be accomplished by setting the SOCKET variable
in /etc/systemd/system/opendmarc.service.d/overrride.conf (if systemd is
used)
or in /etc/default/opendmarc (if SysV is used). Alternately, it can be
set in
the installed configuration file, /etc/opendmarc.conf.

We used systemd in Debian now.. but this file is not present.

The file should be generated by the
/lib/opendmarc/opendmarc.service.generate provided by opendmarc package.
I think it's not executed in the upgrade action..

@Scott

could you please check this for us?

Workaround: execute this commands manually to solve the problem:

# bash /lib/opendmarc/opendmarc.service.generate
# systemctl daemon-reload
# systemctl restart opendmarc.service

Bug#811383: linux-image-4.3.0-1-amd64: drm:intel_dp_aux_ch [i915] *ERROR* dp aux hw did not signal timeout

2016-01-18 Thread Felix Defrance
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.3.0-1-amd64
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I have installed Debian Stretch on my new laptop Dell XPS 15 (9550). It's the
model version: i7, 16G RAM, 512 SSD, and 4k QHD screen.

The problem: the screen don't work at boot.
Gdm work but i can see nothing on the screen (screen is on, but stay black).

Sometime, when i push the power botton, the laptop drop down into power suspend
mode.
After that, when i push the botton again, it wake up and i can see the login
screen.
In this step, the laptop work, (screen is ok but stay unstable).

It's impossible to lock the screen for example. In the case, i need to drop
down in PMsuspend mode again

Bug#783499: When upgrade to Jessie, Access Control declaration need to be modified

2015-04-27 Thread Felix Defrance
Package: munin
Version: 2.0.25-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When dist-upgrade from wheezy to jessie, munin configuration have two
problems :

1/ The configuration file /etc/munin/apache.conf need to be tweaked
before work.

2/ The configuration file /etc/apache/conf.d/munin is not in a correct
directory.

For the first, since apache 2.4, the acces control declaration in Apache
change. As you known :

  * http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/upgrading.html#access

So in, /etc/munin/apache.conf, you need to modify, as follow :

All declaration begin by :
 Order allow,deny
 Allow from all

need to be replaced by :
 Require all granted

For the second problem, the file /etc/apache/conf.d/munin need to be
renamed in munin.conf and placed in /etc/apache/conf-available/munin.conf

And finaly, linked in /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/munin.conf by a2enconf
munin for exemple.
