Bug#418775: gnomad2: unreadable characters in the left panel (local filesystem)

2007-04-11 Thread Francesco Locantore
Package: gnomad2
Version: 2.8.11-2
Severity: important

The command line output reports:

Seems like you're using a filesystem which still contains ISO 8859-1
characters
though your locale is it_IT.UTF-8. The right thing to do is to convert
all file- and directorynames in your filesystem to UTF-8 format.
Otherwise, consider checking force to 8859-1 option for a workaround.

But also with that workaround nothing happens, and it is still
impossible to read the content of the local filesystem in the left
panel.

I have the same bug on a linux-image-2.6.15-1-powerpc but I couldn't find the udev 0.084 for powerpc arch.

Sorry, I've found in Debian/testing after an atp-get update, and then I had to update-initramfs -f -u for let it work.

Thank you.
