Greetings,

Bug#940328: O: keepassx -- Cross Platform Password Manager

2019-09-15 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi,

I intend to orphan the keepassx package.

After trying to contact Diego Sarzi privately and considering that Shengjing
Zhu tried it too via #874950, I am orphaning keepassx again.

I sponsored Diego on an upload for keepassx during DebConf19 and I thought he
would be able to keep it updated.

Keepassx is a great software with high popcorn and it needs due attention.

Giovani

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the perl-doc-html package.

The package description is:
This is the same documentation as provided by the perl-doc package.
However, it has been formatted into HTML, making it suitable for viewing
with a local web browser or for serving up on an intranet for multiple
 users.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see

instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Bug#893063: O: jetring -- gpg keyring maintenance using changesets

2018-03-15 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the jetring package.

The package description is:
jetring is a collection of tools that allow for gpg keyrings to be maintained
using changesets. It was developed with the Debian keyring in mind, and aims
to solve the problem that a gpg keyring is a binary blob that's hard for
 multiple people to collaboratively edit.
 .
With jetring, changesets can be submitted, reviewed to see exactly what they
will do, applied, and used to build a keyring. The origin of every change
made to the keyring is available for auditing, and gpg signatures can be used
 to further secure things.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Bug#880808: O: netstress -- utility designed to stress and benchmark network activity

2017-11-04 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the netstress package.

The package description is:

a given ethernet device or path using simulated (random) real world data
and packet sizes instead of fixed data and packet sizes.
 .
Easily command line usage with random packets sizes and random data for
read, write, or read & write (default) testing and reporting benchmark
 results from the ethernet device.

2017-11-04 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the djagios package.

The package description is:
Djagios is an open source Nagios web based configuration tool with a complete
 Python Nagios API.
 .
The main goal of the tool was to make Nagios usable for non-Nagios admins.
The initial install and configuration would have to be done by Nagios
administrators. But once done ordinary users can add servers, appliances,
 devices, services themselves.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Bug#880806: O: clitest -- performs automatic testing in command lines

2017-11-04 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the clitest package.

The package description is:
Clitest is a portable POSIX shell script that performs automatic
testing in Unix command lines. This script was carefully coded to
 be portable between POSIX shells.
 .
It's the same concept as in Python's doctest module: you document
both the commands and their expected output, using the familiar
interactive prompt format, and a specialized tool tests them.
 .
The clitest command searches for pieces of text that look like
interactive Unix command lines, and then executes those command
lines to verify that they work exactly as shown.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Giovani

Bug#873679: dislocker: libdislocker* renamed without transition packages

2017-08-29 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira

the guidelines at https://wiki.debian.org/RenamingPackages
and this will cause failures during upgrade.

This RC bug is to prevent migration to testing until the new
Debian revision exits the NEW queue and resolves this.

Bug#803426: ITP: clitest -- performs automatic testing in command lines

2015-10-29 Thread Giovani Augusto Ferreira
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Giovani Augusto Ferreira <giov...@riseup.net>

* Package name: clitest
  Version : 0.0+git20150312.339b2d
Upstream Author : Aurelio Jargas <ve...@aurelio.net>
* URL : https://github.com/aureliojargas/clitest
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Shell Script
Description : performs automatic testing in command lines

Clitest is a portable POSIX shell script that performs automatic
testing in Unix command lines. This script was carefully coded to
 be portable between POSIX shells
