Please close the bugreport, the option "DPMS" was not in the xorg.conf. I think the proble occoured during the change from xfree86 to xorg. I am not beginner level in linux but never heard from this setting. I think the kdecontrols screensaver could add some warning or an solution when the user is configuring screensaver and this is not setted in the xorg.conf. Package: sun-java5-plugin Version: 1.5.0-10-1 The graphicons have no numbers or text only the graphicon www.googleanalytics.com same issue with www.lenti.hu or www.tozsdeforum.hu and it's menu other issue is with an 3d panorama application: Works mostly not, but if once it works, choosing and other view (belove two option) it hangs: http://velemer.telehaz.hu/files/turak/virtual/virtual.html I tried already several versions of java, but could not solve the issue. With Slackware 10.0 this issues are not present. I assume that this has maybe to do with glibc or ...? Title: Please help me Hi Can somebody answer me here how to find what is the problem, what prevents KDE to start screen saver etc... I see that since now only I have the issue, but if somebody knows a way how to check the time counter or the condition which makes the decision, then I can give feedback what is occouring the problem which can hapen everywhere. Bug#358606: Krusader ftp is bad
Package: krusader Version: 1.70.0-1 Hi all I downloaded the krusader deb package from it's homepage and installed on my etch. The bug is that if the ftp connection is not stable enough(WLAN), than krusader get's crazy. The ftp download hangs and if I close everything than there is still a process which occours a crash in the krusader every time when I restart it and try to use ftp again. Anyway if I don't close it will never continue to work. Midnight Commander works perfect!!! I am prety sure that kio works fine on a good conection, but if the conection is not very stable then it is unusable. Bug#358737: KDE screensaver / economy functions won't start, when it's time
Package: kde Version: (5:45) Hi all I am using Debian etch, KDE 3.5.1 on my laptop. In middle december the screensaver / hibernate ... worked fine, but now these will never turn on! I tried to create a new user, but noticed the same. It seems to me that something is preventing the clock to count up to that time which is setted to start screen saver or hibernate... I used hibernate very well, but without timing I can not start it and there are no buttons to do that manually. (Or is there?) Anyway I noticed the same problem on my desktop machine after an update, the previous could start screensaver, this not. Of course in the setup if I press test it works...
