Bug#581598: Bug still exists with k3b stuff in version 1.93.0~rc4-1
Hello, yesterday a new version of k3b stuff has shipped into Sid. But the error still exists. A workaround is to hold k3b stuff in version 1.90.0~rc1-1. Bug#581716: white-balance function in kipi-plugins doesn't work properly
Package: kipi-plugins Version: 1.2.0-2 Dear developers, the new digikam and showfoto, build against KDE4.4.3 both don't work properly, when the kipi-plugin function "white-balance" is chosen. If confirm a working step there with ok, the photo is manipulated but I get a non-stop rotating mouse symbol (I suppose the symbol under KDE, which shows a working process and should stop, when the process is done). I only can stop this, if I close the whole digikam. My father has the same os, he can reproduce this behaviour. I work with Debian GNU/Linux Sid / sidux, KDE.4.4.3, kernel 2.6.33-4.slh.1- sidux-amd64 and libc6 2.10.2-8 Hoping, this bugreport is useful, with best regards, Holger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#581598: k3b does not work properly when ripping in flac format
Package: k3b Version: 1.91.0~rc2-1 Dear Developers, k3b 1.91.0~rc2-1 doesn't rip properly, when flac is chosen. The ripping process starts but after 4 seconds k3b freezes, this is reproducable. With ogg as format k3b works fine. After downgrading to version 1.90.0~rc1-1 k3b works properly with flac again. My system is an up-to-date Debian GNU/Linux Sid / sidux with kernel 2.6.33-4.slh.1-sidux-amd64, libc6 2.10.2-8 and KDE4.4.3. Bug#520715: hpijs-ppds - Photosmart D7260 doesn't accept papersizes DIN A5 and DIN A6
Package: hpijs-ppds Version: 3.9.2-3 Dear Maintainers, I have an up-to-date Sid System and problems with my HP Photosmart D7260, which I had not with an older version of hpijs and other hplip stuff in version 2.8.6. I configure a printer Queue with hplip and give it a fine tuning with cups webinterface, A6 printing, Photo Paper, Full Bleed etc. When I try to print a DIN A6 testpage from cups webinterface, then the printer starts the job but interrupts it suddenly with a message on the touch screen of the printer, that there is the wrong paper type or wrong paper format in the printer tray, but thats not true, its DIN A6, original HP Photopaper and the printing side is at the bottom. The same behaviour with DIN A5 paper. Only DIN A4 paper my printer accept. With older version of hplip and hpijs stuff, there is no conflict. Could this perhaps have to do with another package too? Here I think, its a little bit difficult to find out, if it has to do with an issue in cups, foomatic or hplip and its stuff? cups stuff: 1.3.9-15 foomatic-filters: 4.0-20090311-1 Please tell me, if you need further information. Bug#520395: Audacity sometimes suddenly hangs when playing a file
Package: audacity Version: 1.3.7-2 Dear Maintainer, with the new version 1.3.7 of audacity shipped into Sid in the last weeks, I've notized a strange behavior of this program on my 64 Bit Machine and also on my Thinkpad R51: When I play normal audiofiles with it, sometimes the program stopps unexpectedly. The Play button stay pressed, but it is not a total crash. I can press Stop and then start with play normally from that position, where audacity has hanged before. Let me specify "sometimes": Audacity do that sometimes, when I open annother applikation, but also sometimes, when I do nothing other on my machine. With older versions of audacity I have not had such effects. I use for playing and recording the setting "alsa default", my system is an up-to-date Sid / sidux. I hope this report is usefull for you. Please tell me, if you need further information. With best regards, Holger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#519035: gimp-gutenprint 5.2 - the possibility to choose different papersizes has gone
Package: gimp-gutenprint Version: 5.2.3-2 Dear developers, with the older Version 5.0 of gimp-gutenprint I can choose a lot of papersizes like DIN A5 or DIN A6 for my printer to print fotos in this sizes. With the new gimp-gutenprint 5.2, which is now actual in Sid and Testing, this possibility has gone. I can choose only DIN A4, Letter and Custom, it ist now useless for me. I hope, this is a bug, and not a new feature and you can fix this. Sorry for my bad english. Bug#467406: "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed" after dist-upgrade
Package: cupsys Version: 1.3.5-1+b1 and Package: foomatic-filters Version: 3.0.2-20080211-2 Hello, dear maintainer, I work with sid on a x86 machine. After a dist-upgrade my Hp Deskjet 5550, configured with a driver from hplip project (Deskjet 5550 foomatic/hpijs/recomended) shows the following behavior: The printer doesn't finish the cups testpage, it stopps with the message: "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed" But the following behavior is curious: After 16 minutes (!) the printer continues and finishes the printing job. I can reproduce this issue. With my HP Laserjet 1300, configured as postscript printer, everthing is fine. Bug#379423: digikam 0.9-beta1-1 now works together with the new version digikamimageplugins 0.9-beta1-2
Hi, thanks a lot, a new version of digikamimageplugins 0.9-beta1-2 in experimental solves the problem. This version works together with digikam 0.9-beta1-1. I've installed both packages, digikam 0.9-beta1-1 from sid and digikamimageplugins 0.9-beta1-2 from experimental, and they work together. Bug#379423: digikam doesnt't work with digikamimageplugins
Package: digikam Version: 0.9-beta1-1 I work with Debian GNU/Linux Sid, the kernel version is linux-image-2.6.17-1-k7. Today I've found a new version 0.9-beta1-1 of digikam in Sid and I've installed it. The current version of digikamimageplugins in Sid is 0.8.2-1, but the new digikam 0.9-beta1-1 doesn't work properly with that plugins, so I've installed the version 0.9-beta1-1 of digikamimageplugins from Experimental. The problem is, that I can't choose this plugins in the preferences menu of digikam. Then I've deleted the configuration files of digikam in ~/.kde, I've purged digikam and digikamplugins and then I've installed them again. The result is the same, I cannot choose the plugins in the preferences menu of digikam. I hope, this message is useful for you. Bug#375982: Digikam doesn't save modified Tiff images
Package: digikam Version: 0.8.1+0.8.2-rc1-2 I work with Debian GNU/Linux Sid, the kernel version is linux-image-2.6.17-1-k7. When I modify a Tiff image under Digikam and try to save it directly, I get the Error Message, that the image cannot be saved. I have to choose "Save as ..." and have to give the Tiff image a new name, then Digikam saves it. With Jpeg Files it works fine, I can modify them and save modifications directly, without giving them a new name. I hope, this message is useful for you. Bug#374478: libgphoto2-port0 and libgphoto2-2 in Sid don't work with digikam
Package: libgphoto2-port0 / libgphoto2-2 Version: 2.2.0-3 and Package: digikam Version: 0.8.1+0.8.2-rc1-1 I work with GNU/Debian Linux Sid, the kernel version is linux-image-2.6.16-2-k7. After a dist-upgrade today I've got new versions of libgphoto2-port0 and libgphoto2-2. After that dist-upgrade an access on my camera Canon Powershot A 95 with digikam is not possible. But the access with gtkam is still possible. The solution for me is a downgrade of libgphoto2-port0 and libgphoto2-2. With the version in Etch the access with digikam is possible. I hope this message is useful for you, sorry for my bad english. With best regards, Holger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
