Bug#790048: amanda-server: selfcheck request failed
Package: amanda-server Version: 1:3.3.6-4 Severity: normal Hi, amcheck and amdump doesn't work anymore for a few server. It did work a few days ago. I get the selfcheck request failed error for several servers. If I use amcheck with only one server which didn't work on the complete request (yoda.example.de) it says '1 host checked in 1.089 seconds.' In the meantime I compiled the new Amanda Server 3.3.7p1 with the same result It's a severe bug for me because these server won't be backuped anymore. I'm wondering if there is a bug in the 3.3.6 or higher. If not needed please keep 2.6.25.x in the support. -- Package-specific info: -- /etc/udev/rules.d/: /etc/udev/rules.d/: total 56 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root19 Jul 23 21:33 025_libgphoto2.rules -> ../libgphoto2.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1908 Apr 2 2009 11-hplj10xx.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2741 Oct 26 02:17 70-persistent-cd.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1049 Nov 14 19:53 70-persistent-net.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7755 Nov 6 17:03 80-usb_modeswitch.rules lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root15 Jul 23 21:17 libnjb.rules -> ../libnjb.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 25245 Jun 24 10:09 usb_modeswitch.rules lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root15 Jul 23 21:27 z60_hdparm.rules -> ../hdparm.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7117 Apr 11 2009 z60_xserver-xorg-input-wacom.rules -- /sys/: /sys/class/scsi_generic/sg0/dev /sys/class/scsi_generic/sg1/dev /sys/class/scsi_generic/sg2/dev /sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXPWRBN:00/input/input0/event0/dev /sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0C0C:00/input/input1/event1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/audio1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/controlC1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/dsp1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/hwC1D0/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/mixer1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:01.0/:01:00.1/sound/card1/pcmC1D0p/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.0/usb3/3-0:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev3.1_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.0/usb3/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.0/usb3/usb_endpoint/usbdev3.1_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.0/usbmon/usbmon3/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.1/usb4/4-0:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev4.1_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.1/usb4/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.1/usb4/usb_endpoint/usbdev4.1_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.1/usbmon/usbmon4/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-0:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev1.1_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-3/1-3:1.0/host8/target8:0:0/8:0:0:0/block/sdc/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-3/1-3:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev1.2_ep02/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-3/1-3:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev1.2_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-3/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/1-3/usb_endpoint/usbdev1.2_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usb1/usb_endpoint/usbdev1.1_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1a.7/usbmon/usbmon1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/adsp/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/audio/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/controlC0/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/dsp/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/hwC0D0/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/mixer/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/pcmC0D0c/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/pcmC0D0p/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/pcmC0D1c/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1b.0/sound/card0/pcmC0D1p/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1c.4/:03:00.1/ide0/0.1/block/hdb/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.0/usb5/5-0:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev5.1_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.0/usb5/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.0/usb5/usb_endpoint/usbdev5.1_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.0/usbmon/usbmon5/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-0:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.1_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.0/input/input4/event4/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.0/input/input4/js0/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep02/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.0/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep81/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.1/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep04/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.1/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep05/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.1/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep83/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.1/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep85/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.2/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep86/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-1/usb_endpoint/usbdev6.2_ep00/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/6-2:1.0/input/input3/event3/dev /sys/devices/pci:00/:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/6-2:1.0/i

Bug#365852: base: languge problems us/german with xserver
Package: base Severity: normal Tags: l10n I've installed Debian Sarge from a CD, chose English language but German keyboard layout. That works good with the text consoles (F1-F6) but the setup/installation program also configures the XF86Config-4 wrong. It chooses Option "XkbLayout" "us" to be US layout instead taking my German keyboard layout. Just a little bit annoying but it should be better taking my chosen keyboard layout before.
